We use it for our 2-lb goldfish. We raise temp to about 78 force the ich to cycle and she handles it well. While it's almost impossible to completely get rid of Ich, this medication knocks it out enough to get her healthy again. We notice she gets sick more often in the summer when we have hot and then cool weather. We have installed a heater to keep the temp as close to 74 as possible. Good luck!
