Very good short espionage comic series
Roland King is a retired superspy who, in his old age, decides to right some wrongs. A bloodbath ensues until the inevitable conclusion. Without giving away more of the plot, this volume of 4 comics is fun with a plot that moves along quickly and with interesting characters. The artwork is nicely executed and I'd recommend this to any comics lover. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

“Nobody Does it Better”, not even this guy
“King of Spies” collects a four-issue ultraviolent blood-splattered story. If you like far-fetched ultraviolent blood-splattered stories, then this is for you.If you want a decent story, then look away now.Garth Ennis did something similar recently with his “Jimmy’s B*stards”, which I described as being “…a cartoon James Bond parody, but a well-written and illustrated one, and the main characters are serious ones, not crude parodies – unlike everyone else in the story.”Here, everybody is a crude parody. This is not to say that it is not entertaining, it just isn’t very interesting.Go and find Ed Brubaker & Steve Epting’s “Velvet” series for an interesting, entertaining and superb take on “B*nd”. Now, they DID do it better.
