Why isn't a water pipe made from stainless steel?
I saw the reviews, I thought "that can't be right...". It's true. The thing is made from non-stainless steel. Water inside the base will come out rusty when it's been sitting for day. No idea how long this is going to last because it's basically corroding when not in use, but it can't be that long. Otherwise it works fine for using a commercial sprinkler system head with a hose (which is what I do).

Product Misassembled
Product misassembled so that the part that the sprinkler is supposed to screw into instead of being upright is leaning at about 10-15 degree angle. Not suitable for rain bird type sprinkler head. Returning to Amazon.

Do not buy
It rusts internally after first use. When you pick it up, rusty water pours out and stains your clothes.It is bound to clog up your sprinkler.

Had to return
When it was placed on a flat surface and the stand pipe was installed it was not 90 degrees to the surface it was on a significant angle.
