I ordered the small-27 inch waist and 36 hips-it is snug but comfortable. Medium may not get the result you want.

This product would probably be fine. but you must remember that if you have extra fat around your body, it is going to be pushed up. What you'll end up with is a muffin above the top of the shaper.

Q: Can you wear pantyhose over these?

No but you can wear pantyhose under them.

Q: I am 5’ 4” and short waisted, 9” from under bust line to hip bone. Will this be too long? I don’t want to make a bra out of it too.

It might be. I'm 5'6" and long waisted and it comes almost up to my bra.
