Works great lathers up and smells so good

I’ve used all sorts of Kenra products in the past and needed a new color safe shampoo. This was expensive a 90$ for the set, but highly rated, and usually the Kenra brand is solid. What a waste of good money. I’ve been using this crap now for a few months and it’s horrible. It is watery, makes my hair feel dry and brittle (it isn’t normally), and it does not seem to actually clean my hair. It’s horrible. Is this what Kenra has become? I notice right now this product shows as unavailable. Is this the Amazon product switcharoo game I seem to stumble on more and more? I don’t know, but I won’t be buying any Kendra products going forward. I can’t afford to risk it. Yes it’s really that bad.

I have fine hair and lots of it and I have a good amount of body as well. Semi wavy and a blonde. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for several years. What I like about it is the smell, beautiful smell and my husband likes it too and it’s not to heavy for my amount of hair. In other words, I don’t need to wash my hair again 3 days later because it’s flat or a bit oily. Also I can spray my heat protection stuff on my hair and still it’s not to much overload of product. On the down side of this shampoo is that it does not lather up the first time you apply it to your hair. I think that is because it doesn’t contain sulfates and several other additives. However, just wash a second time and it will lather up a little bit more. I love the conditioner too because it’s just the right amount and not overly heavy. I have bought this product in Ultra stores and ordered it online. Because several reviewers reported that they didn’t think they got the real product from Amazon, I decided to test it myself and from my photo you can see that the more yellow spots are my old bottle of shampoo and conditioner and the brand new set is the white areas. Both smell the same, both have same texture, and I just wash my hair yesterday and it’s exactly the same! For those who have never tried this shampoo, it comes out of the bottle very thin like, almost watery compared to your average shampoo. I do think this product helps keep my blond hair color longer and I definitely do not have product build up or flat hair when I use both shampoo and conditioner. It’s a really good product I think for thin to average volume hair. I’m not sure how it would work if you have very thick hair. The shampoo might take you many times to get it to lather up.

Love this product. The smell is amazing

I'm allergic to sulfa-based medications and sensitive to topical sulfur compounds. (And I don't like adding to pollution.) It works okay - does add shine but hair feels frizzy after washing unless conditioner is applied. I've used it 3 times so far, in between using other shampoos/conditioners so that I'm not super-exposed. It's harsher too, not sure if that's the sulfur or other ingredients. For the price, I was hoping it'd be better quality. Does seem to help hold the color.
