Review of: Hypothermias 3 Pack, ea STRAWBERRY, BUBBLE GUM, GREEN APPLE Snow Cone SyrupIn the past I’ve tried a couple of other flavors of Hypothermias Snow Cone Syrup (Cherry syrup and Tiger’s Blood syrup) and I’ve super enjoyed the flavor of each. For me, I use the syrup not as a topping for a snow cone but in unflavored sparkling water/bubbly water as a more than decent replacement or change-of-pace to drinking heavier tasting sodas.So, for my taste buds, a 3 pack of new flavors was a special treat; even during the colder months of the year.What I found during my multiple taste tests of all three varieties was that I really enjoyed 2 of the flavors and was ‘just okay’ with the third flavor.My favorite is the strawberry flavor, which I found to be not just sugary but also contained a realistic taste of what I think a fresh strawberry should taste like. In the past, my favorite variety has been the cherry syrup but I now consider the strawberry flavor to be just about as good and certainly a flavor I would try a second time.The green apple, I thought, is also tasty (but still falls below the strawberry as my go-to flavor of the three). I found that the green apple did, for me, taste like a mild apple flavor with just a slight hint of tartness; though the sweetness of the syrup did make the syrup seem more like a sweet apple instead of a tart apple.Finally, I tried the Blue Bubble Gum flavor. And, while I thought the taste was ‘okay’ I don’t consider the taste to be anything special. I found the flavor to be sweet but I also found the taste to be so bland that I couldn’t assign any specific flavor to the syrup. For me, while the flavor is marketed as ‘bubble gum’, I can’t taste any flavor that reminds me of any type of bubble gum that I’ve ever had in the past.All-in-all, I’m a big fan of the Hypothermias brand of syrup and can easily recommend them to mix-up a cool, refreshing change to soda.

These are such good flavors that don't contain any high fructose corn syrup. I love how sweet the flavors are and the colors are beautiful! Used them for kids bday part and they were a hit!

I love these Hypothermia snowball flavors.I originally hail from New Orleans, where we rely on snowballs to keep cool (and for fun!). There really are some amazing proprietary flavors being made in New Orleans. Plum Street Snowball Stand has been there forever (literally decades) and caters to the likes of Drew Brees and other celebs. I used to love the Orchid Cream Vanilla with serving of Ice Cream on top!But I digress. These Hypothermia flavors are actually quite good and make it so easy to bring the delicious taste of snowballs to your home. I make the snowball ice in my Ninja Chopper with ice cubes. I let them melt for a few minutes to make them a little easier to chop. The ice comes out really fine--like fresh snow from outdoors. Then I pour this delicious Hypothermia syrup on top and Bam! I have a great tasting snowball, right here in New York City. Woohoo!Now, which flavors are the best? I find all of the Hypothermia flavors to be quite good--and authentic tasting. My favorite of this trio is probably the bubble gum, followed closely by the strawberry. And make no mistake, I do like the green apple, but to me it tastes more like pure sweetness, and I don't get as much of the green apple flavor coming through. But that's probably a good thing in my case, because I am not a huge fan of green apples to begin with. I also have a separate, large jug of the Hypothermia green apple, and it's getting plenty of use. So no worries there.I feel like the price for this trio is more than fair, considering that you are getting 3 bottles for $20 that are already pre-mixed for you. It's a great starter set also, if you are just starting to experiment with snowballs at home.Thank you Amazon and great job Hypothermia!Highly Recommended!!!!

What you get - 3 16oz flavored syrups (Strawberry, Apple, Bubblegum.Pros - These are made with cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. They are literally ready to pour - no prep needed (well except the ice or whatever else you are putting them on). The Strawberry flavor is fabulous, I am not an apple fan but the apple one does taste like apple (although more on the sweet side than tart), and overall they are good value.Cons - the Bubblegum doesn't really taste like anything other than sweet. Not sure what I expected - maybe something like raspberry- it literally just kinda tastes like sugar so personally I would rather be able to get this without that one.Over all 2/3 were winners

Hypothermias 3 Pack Pints-16 Fl. Oz eaThese flavor bottles are pure sugar and no corn syrup. That makes them special as so many are cheaply made from the corn. I had plans of using them to make soda with my SodaStream. That worked with two and not so much with the bubble gum flavor. Though if I can get an ice shaver machine, it would be great on that and with the other two for a rainbow cone.The SodaStream made some great apple and strawberry soda with these flavor syrups. They reminded me of some of the fruit flavored sodas I had growing up. I liked them very much as did my roommate. Neither of us drink sugared soda very often. We look at it as a special treat. These are special treat worthy. We both liked the two fruit flavored ones for soda and the bubble gum for ice treat use. These are highly recommended.

The green apple tastes a little funny. Not really the sour granny-smith artificial taste I'm used to... but I'm not sure how else to describe what it does taste like.The Strawberry and the Bubble Gum taste as expected though. The concentration of flavor vs sweetness is just right, and these make for excellent snow cone syrups. They come with shrink-wrapped closed lids, and the pouring lids are packed separately, which really helps it survive the shipping process.
