My hair dresser turned me onto this product years ago and it is the only pomade I will use. She still uses only this brand on all of her customers. It doesn’t way your hair down, adds shine and softness while holding your style all day. If you need some more Texture at the end of the day, simply use a hair drier to reheat your hair and tousle. Why Redken stopped making this Water Wax 3 is beyond me! I had a friend recommend it yo me 15 years ago. I’ve bought it ever since. Paid more and more, as the price went from 16.99 yo 23.99. Publix even carried it! Now I’s pay double if I could find it. I have some Mom gave me. It works perfectly gor my hair type. My hair is fine but I have a lot of hair. Its passed shoulder length. This was my absolute MUST HAVE and now there is nothing on thr market even close! It had a slight bit of tack, but never sticky. You could thump the tub it was in and it would reverberate.’sort of like a “thud” noise. It was the best. Redken PLEASE MAKE WATER WAX AGAIN! Don’t mess with it, don’t change a thing! Such a great product!! Please bring it BAAAACK! 😔

Order this pomade during cooler months. The item being in hot trucks for delivery as well as sitting out on a porch/in a mailbox throughout the day during warmer months makes the product melt to a liquid. If the cap is not fully sealed the liquid leaks out all over the package. Even after allowing the product to reset the product was not the same. Order enough during cooler months to cover for use during warm months.

My hairdresser recommended this product: which I could only find on amazon. This product tames short, thick, color treated, w cowlicks tends to stick straight up hair; leaving it shiny and soft. This is a thick gel paste, and as others have said, you only need to use a little- i use about a nickle size in 3 areas (top, sides and back).

My salon can no longer get this product and I love the way it separates and shines my hair! Thank you for making it available!

This product is great but expensive. After this purchase at Amazon I found the same product at Walmart with a buy the second product at 1/2 price. That was a great deal!

I love this product. I only use the smallest dab and rub my hand together so it's spread thin, then kind of run my hands through my hair. You can't see the product in my shoulder-length hair, and if you use too much it will make your hair heavy and oily-feeling, so when I say a dab I really do mean a teeny tiny dab. I use it to keep down static and prevent flyaway hairs from clinging to my face. When I had shorter hair I began using it to give my boyish cut a more "piece-y" look, which it did well.
