Incredible for the price
What's great about these:- Noise cancelling works well against low frequency noise, such as airplane, train, or traffic noise.- Battery life is fantastic. You can listen to these for an entire long flight, and still have plenty of juice left.- Bluetooth is reliable and has a suitably long range.- Microphone works well for phone calls. I haven't had any complaints about the sound quality coming from my end.- Comfortable. Headband adjustments have a positive 'click', and stay set to the length you choose without slipping.- Not fragile. I have knocked them around a fair amount, and they are fine.- If you want to use them as wired headphones, you can. You just need an audio cable to plug into the 3.5mm jack on the headphones.- Sound quality is good. There are some minor downsides:- The weight of the headphones can be fatiguing on a long flight or train ride.- Having to press-and-hold the button while listening and waiting for the headphones to say "power on"/"power off" is annoying. A simple on/off switch, like the switch used for the noise cancelling, would be better.---Update: It has been approximately 1.4 years since my purchase.I still stand by my review above, with one caveat: I purchased them for $53.71. The price is $98.51 at the time of this update. My original headline of "incredible for the price" should be interpreted with that significant price increase in mind.

Good value for money
For this price, this is an excellent product.I'm not a professional audio geek but listen to occasional Bollywood songs and audiobooks.I was not comfortable spending 150+ for a headphone and bought this based on recommendation from an office colleague (who happens to be a audiophile:))Pros.....Rich sound. Not too much bass but nice balanced sound...Noise cancellation mode is really good; completely cuts off the outside noise....Easy to operate and pair/unpair...Sturdy build quality...Can be used in either wired/wireless mode....No need of batteries to charge, charge it using the usb cable provided...Decent range from bedroom to drawing room, no sound drop..Cons..Nothing so far but refer to 'points to be noted' section.Points to be noted..If you have a really big head, this might not fit you.If you have a Sony Smart TV, most probably you wont be able to pair it with that. Not Monoprice's fault but blame it on Sony.

Worked great on cross country flight.
I just bought these and used them a few times so far. I flew from San Diego non stop to NYC and they worked flawlessly. The flight had built in screens so I had to connect the mini audio cable to the seat (instead of bluetooth to personal device). The noise cancellation works good and reduced the engine noise almost completely. You can still hear people talk but they're also reduced, and outside voices are almost inaudible when you have music or audio coming through the phones. The build quality is top notch so far and the ear pads are comfortable and my ear sits inside the pad. I have smaller to medium sized ears (I think?) and they fit fine. There was little to no discomfort after the 4 hours of flying. They are a tad heavier than I thought but I'd rather have the better build quality and quality audio than an easy to break pear of twigs. They also fold up relatively small to pack into a pouch or smaller space. The audio sounds great but not amazing. I still need to do some more testing but it's more than I expected and good enough for my needs. They get loud enough and reproduce movie sound and music just fine for me. Everyone is different and will have different needs for audio reproduction. For the price you can't beat it I would think.Battery lasted the entire 4-5 hour flight with noise cancellation on. I haven't yet tested the limits of them.Very happy so far!

They’re fine.
They work and peform as advertised and as reviewed, or some happy middle ground. They are definitely not high or even mid fidelity, but they are very inexpensive and get the job done for listening to movies and podcasts and such on an airplane. Noise cancellation and no cords is a wonderful thing when traveling.

Good headphones with effective ANC
I tried many low price ANC Bluetooth headphones to try to replace my old Monoprice noise cancelling wired headphones. For all other models, the noise cancelling was either non-functional or generated electronic noise.Noise cancelling on the Sonicsolace works well and I think it even blocks a wider frequency range than my old Monoprice headphones. But the noise cancelling does generate a slight white noise so it does not result in the same feeling of complete silence.Sound quality is good.It is very comfortable on the ears, which was a problem on some of the other models. It is heavier than the other headphones I have tried. It also has very little padding underneath the hear rest. So it was uncomfortable after 1h of wearing. I have used the padding from my old Monoprice headphones to fix this.It does not come with a case.It folds. Once folded, it is small enough to be used in a small oval case. The microphone works well.Unlike some recent headphones model, it does not support being connected to two devices at the same time.

My 2nd purchase! Good sound and material quality for a fair price.
For the price, the sound quality is excellent. Its material is quality, not some cheap plastic. This is my 2nd purchase in fact.

Good headphones, weak noise cancelling
These are great Bluetooth headphones. Comfortable to wear, easy to pair, good sound quality and good battery life. These are poor noise cancelling headphones. They only really cancel out specific high frequencies like fan noise. They will dull the ambient noise on an airplane but not the lower frequencies like the engine noise. My 11 year old Sony noise cancelling headphones are far better at cancelling noise. These are not even remotely as good as current Sony or Bose noise cancelling headphones.

Bose quality at a fraction of the price
Great product great price, fit and finish is excellent, sound quality is great and the Bluetooth works from across the house. Comfortable for long flights. Quality level on par with Bose but at a fraction of the price.I would highly recommend this product.

Worth the price, not overly noteworthy
Pretty good sound, nice and clear, they could be a bit comfier and the noise cancelling is not as good as others I've tried. All around decent price for what you get
