IKEA - RIKLIG Teapot, glass

This is the best teapot I have ever owned and I'm almost 68 and have made a lot of tea.For some reason Ikea doesn't sell it online. My Amazon purchase cost more, but it is worth it for this item, just to be able to use it daily.Great easy set up with the easy to empty oversized infuser that is big enough to make all sorts of fresh herb infusions and tisanes, and gives the tea or herbs enough room. Nice volume. Makes enough. It comes in two sizes and I will probably order one of the littler ones, also.Very pleased to find it online after finding out Ikea didn't ship, and I was going to be nowhere near a store for several months. Go for it, you will love this pot.

We bought this nifty little glass teapot from Ikea directly at their store locally. The teapot is moderately priced and extremely effective for making upto three mugs of strong tea - we prefer the loose Assam tea that has a strong liquor and needs milk and sugar. The glass is delicate and thin and very elegant. The quality of the teapot is good given the price and design aesthetics. After drinking strong bodied tea from loose leaf teas, we resort to teabags only when we have to!

This is an elegant and large teapot with a useable volume of about 48 fl.oz or 1.5 l (I measured) made in the Czech Republic. The bottom is thin and I advise to always place it on a trivet, ideally cork.The sieve is appropriately large, giving space for tea leaves to unfold.The price on Amazon is DOUBLE that at Ikea but it's not available for shipping from them and still a reasonable price.

This little tea pot is perfect for brewing loose tea. (loose tea in bulk is more cost effective. We drink a lot of tea in our house. Everyone has their favorites. This little pot is great forsharing a cup with a loved ones or if you need a lot of tea to fill you big to go cup.
