The media could not be loaded. Ordered the first reel in November, before using it I ordered another one. Daiwa has been my go to for surf fishing since I was old enough to buy my own gear, have around 6 emblems, 4 saltist and 4 BGs. The last emblem reel I bought about 8 years ago, so I was excited to try the new line of emblem reels. Should have tried it before buying another one. Daiwa dropped the ball on this reel. There is very very little drag adjustment. I broke one reel just trying to adjust the drag. It goes from no drag to locked up on 1 turn of the drab knob. Thinking drag washer may be stuck(new reel) I tried to turn the spool and pop. Something broke inside and you can pull the spool up with your hand. The other reel is the same way, except I haven’t broken it trying to set the drag. Spend a little more and go with a saltist or BG or Shimano.
