I think this is a good concept however, this pot is not automatic in my opinion. All it is is a flower pot with a timed water pump in it. The problem is that it waters every 3 hours and there is no way to adjust that time. So that immediately severely limited the plants that would be able to survive in such wet conditions. I would try it again if there was some way to customize the watering and the amount of water. But for $75 I just didn’t think it was worth it for a plastic pot with a fountain pump. I returned it.

This thing is too small to have anything established, anything that sprouts in this will need transplanted immediately, you should have made the entire reservoir accessable to roots. Very disappointed

These are dead simple to put together and set up. Mine came with some seeds to get me started. I just threw it all together and set in front of a sunny window. Plants come to my house to die so having these to get the job done is a lot better!

Order the first unit and it showed up inoperable. A replacement unit was shipped immediately. Once the new unit was received everything worked as advertised and I was excited. I had a hydroponic set up that didn't look like a science project. Unfortunately, this was short-lived and two weeks the pump failed. I really wish I had better luck with these because I like the concept and aesthetics. If anyone knows of a comparable product please let me know.

You will not get the seeds if you are not in EU, besides that it is just plug and play.... I wish there would have been a version with a rechargeable battery...
