I use it to prop up my legs while sitting at the computer for hours a day. It's just the right height to get my feet up and still have enough clearance for the tops of my thighs.. It's made with just enough cushioning to rest my feet on comfortably. The plastic pads on the bottom have ridges rough enough keep it from sliding on the rug when you don't want it to, but they don't dig in when you want to move it. It's small enough to fit under my desk and give room to put my feet down beside it when I want to. It's of the most rewarding things I ever bought on Amazon.

question whether it will hold up over the long run...could have been sturdier

My husband wanted something to put his feet up for our "non-reclining" sofas - we bought 3 of these ottomans to do the job. Might have to buy more because everyone wants one when watching the games.

Bought to match my tan carpet and gray chair. Not a fan of the metallic GOLD cording between the gray/tan but for the price, I didn't mind. I prop my feet on it when I'm at my desk and only take out when I sit in the gray rocking chair, which isn't nearly as often as the desk chair.

Ottoman is very sturdy, a bit heavy to move around. Color as described, really pretty. My problem, its to big for the space intended. Great bye, just not for me.
