I thought these trays would be a nicer version of the ones I usually get (black tray with clear lid) but I was very disappointed in how they are made:1) The lid does not fit snuggle/snap into place on tray which cause 2 issues - the condensation drips out every time I handle the tray and the lid flies off unless I am carefully holding the lid and tray together;2) The inner (clear) tray does not fit correctly into the green tray causing the entire thing to be off balance because some of the inner tray is touching the bottom (therefore absorbing water) and some of it is not.Overall I do not recommend these trays and will not be using them next year.

These are perfect for getting your seedlings started. They are small yet have 12 planting spots. They have a water retaining bottom. The planter have holes in the bottom so they can be watered from the bottom. They have a very clear greenhouse type cover with an adjustable vent cover. We have started a lot of seedlings in these planters. You get 10 sets with the capability of planting 120 seedlings. They also come with plant markers and really handy tools to help you plant. They are relatively in expensive and reusable. I am just cleaning my first set that we are finished with. They look very nice after starting new seedlings. I can not wait to use them on my winter and summer vegetable seedlings as well as flower seedlings. The possibilities are limitless! I am so glad I found them here on Amazon. They come in a sturdy box with the 10 planter with 12 spots in each, the bottom that fits the planter section and the nicely fitting clear top, the tools and the plant markers. What a deal!

I love having a bunch of small trays that I can control separately. I have a modestly sized garden and bigger trays don't make sense for the variety of plants I want to have. Great for planting lots of variety in a small space and also for easy succession planting. I don't have a heating mat but still got great germination on all of my seeds with these. If you have something like peppers that need warmer soil closing the dial and keeping in a southern window or having your grow light above it seems to create a little mini greenhouse and helps warm the soil for good germination. I used the 12-cell last year and got a set of the 6-cells to add to my collection this year.

Don’t buy from this seller. I order to get a new set of 10 seedlings tray to grow herbs and paid $21.99, yes full expensive price but I got some trays filled with leftover grease inside my clear tray and some of the green base cover felt greasy too and they have an odor smell. I am going to return this because not worth taking a risk to plant my seedlings in. I am very disappointed because this was a good size and a good idea for my seeds but I can’t take the risk.

These little seed starter trays work great, and are so handy when you have small spaces to set them up. My husband uses them to start his Hot Pepper seeds in .They are easy to use and work fantastic. They are sturdy for their size even though they are made of plastic. Yes, I would buy them again (when needed).
