Does this expire? There is no expiration date on the container

I was out of the smaller jar of this and called company since it looked like it wasn't available anywhere. They offered to send me the larger one for the same price which was very generous. I told them I was concerned that I wouldn't use the large on in time, it might expire or go bad. She told me that the product would be fine for a year in the cabinet. (pantry) We have 2 small dogs that we give this to in the morning, and the large container worked great for all the time that we had it. (these dogs are  prone to constipation-and this works like magic for that) I did have to buy another container before the year was out so for at least almost a year, this was fine. I am not sure if this helps-hope it does!Patti

What's the difference between the blue label and the brown label. My pit just went through CCL surgery.  was on a ton of meds.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The blue label is made with a base of whey protein which is a highly beneficial medium for the probiotic bacteria and enzymes to support the rapid growth in the GI tract.  The brown label is the same except the base is a high quality egg powder which is also very valuable for the growth of the bacteria.  We offer the choice in case of any known allergy issues.  We also recommend PROBIOTIC MAX which is probiotics and enzymes but a stronger formula in the whey base.  This is what we usually recommend following medications and antibiotics. when did they change the formula??   it is no longer easy to spread around the food among other things.

Changed formula about a yr ago. seems to the same texture as before. After moisture gets to it towards the end it gets clumpy. I just stir it with a spoon. I add water first. enough to cover the bottom of the dish.

This was recommended by our breeder for our Great Dane; always used it and he never had stomach/bowel issues.  Didn’t go without it so not sure what the consequences would’ve been if we didn’t put the additive on his food.  Not sure in what context your question is but if you have a more specific question please ask.
