Works very well to protect all my valuable electronics
I am a big fan of APC. I have a couple other surge protectors of theirs, and like them all. They are well built, seem very sturdy, and work well overall. The main reason I was drawn to APC is because if any of their surge protectors get zapped and can no longer provide protection to your devices, they quit supplying power to them. I had an old surge protector of a different brand that I thought was good, but it was not. Apparently, it was no longer providing protection, but was still providing power, and a couple of my devices were damaged. I lost a paper shredder, which was not a big deal, and the power supply in my desktop PC, which turned out to not be a big deal (easy fix). It made me realize, though, how important it was to have proper surge protectors, not just ones you might find at the dollar store. The best thing about APC, is their protectors work well, and are really comparable in price to something you would buy in a big box store.

Works great so far, good protection for the price.
So far it hasn't given me any problems, the cord length and protection rating is the reason I bought this. I previously did research on surge protectors and gathered the products with the best protection, outlet design and outlet quantity, and I put them in a list. This was the best I could find from a reputable company, review quality, protection quantity, and outlet design. There are better products but they are the rectangular ones which I will use but not for the same purpose I bought this one for.

House hit by lightning - first power surge
My house was hit by lightning, and we experienced a power surge. I had my PC on and plugged into this power strip, so at first I was I was very concerned. However, my PC remained functional and no hard drive data was lost and no issues were found.

Good Power Strip
Build quality feels fine. There are 7 outlets, most of which have a normal amount of space between them, and one at the end with extra space for any devices that need more room. It connects to a wall outlet with a 90 degree bend. The cable is long enough to be used in a standing desk as long as there is an outlet close to the desk.

Quality build, thoughtful design, and priced well.
APC is a trusted brand that I rely on for surge protectors, power strips, and UPS devices. Their products are well-built and reasonably priced. The angled plug design reduces interference with other electronics plugged into the same wall outlet, which is a considerate feature. This power strip includes 7 outlets, and they are well-spaced. The extra spacing for the last outlet is convenient for accommodating larger adapters. It also has four holes if you wish to mount the power strip on a wall, desk, or another surface, although I haven't personally used that feature. All the outlets securely hold the plugs. The only feature I wish it had is a sliding dust cover for unused outlets, but given the price, I am very satisfied.

Worked great for network equipment and replaced a very old one.

Simple, solid construction, good price.
It's a simple surge protector, its got good build quality, has a warranty with decent coverage for most people, and isn't overly expensive. Overall, I'd say it's a good surge protector. My only real issue was the two small glowing lights, while smaller/dimmer than many others, I just always tape/cover lights on these so I can sleep at night. I had one surge protector that had a small button next to the main switch that let you turn off the lights by pressing it, but it would reset if a power surge or anything happened so you'd only see the lights show up when something went bad. A feature I'd like to see more, but one that doesn't seem common. So in this products case an old sock is just left over the lights for this one. Also if you have a bigger setup of stuff, you might want a larger strip, but that's just thinking ahead about what you buy and might need it for now and in the future. I do like how the power connector is at an angle, so when you plug it into the wall/socket, it normally wont block the socket directly bellow it like some others do.

Lots of outlets, well made, low cost... I keep spares on hand
This product is low cost ($7-$10), has a good number of outlets (7), and appears to be well made... and to boot... it has surge protection functionality. For such a low cost, I am not expecting the best quality surge protection, but this is better than no surge protection.I help friends and family out with technology products. Most don’t want to spend much or any money on things like newer outlet strips or replacing ancient extension cords with no surge suppression. Many of the ancient strips with surge suppression have the red light, or the red blinking light flashing that indicates the surge suppression is no longer working. Most ignore it.For me… it is great to have the option to hand someone a $7-$10 outlet strip that is new and probably has more outlets than their old strip. I feel better as the product appears to be well made and at least has some level of surge suppression. Mostly I feel better at handing them something that looks better than the ancient thing they are plugging their very expensive equipment into. I keep a number of these on hand.To a small degree, I am also putting some trust into the APC name as they are a well known brand for the much higher quality (and cost) surge suppressors and uninterruptible power supplies.
