The bench arrived well packed in a flat box. The contents were protected with a thin layer of styrofoam packing on all six sides which is a very nice touch.Assembly took about 15 minutes. The required allen screw wrenches are provided. The allen screws themselves are relatively heavy duty, much thicker, and stronger than typical knock-down furniture. The wood is finished on all sides and feels smooth under the hand. The screws dropped right into the holes and tightened without issue. There's a very functional cross-brace between the sets of sturdy legs and there are four braces under the bench in addition.The bench has a quality to it due to the some of its parts. The hardware is good, the wood used very nice looking, and the packing, design, and assembly all speak of a better-than-normal quality. Almost commercial quality - like you'd find in a professional spa or the common area of a dorm or barracks.In my use it's both a clean looking functional table and when needed, a bench.

What i got was not what i ordered. See picture. I put the imposter together, because, i could not figure out how to send it back. Too big & heavy for me(84 years old) to manage. I will have have I've got junk pick it up.I am not asking for a refund, but just letting you know what happened. Bh cd

It looks awesome and is the perfect size for our entry way. It was delivered a few days after it was supposed to arrive. Assembly instructions were easy to understand. Unfortunately, one of the support pieces chipped when the screen went in, but the bench is still sturdy. All in all, I can recommend this bench.

I was impressed with the surface of the benches. I bought rwo as additional seating at my outdoor dining table. No more splinters from rough picnic benches. My grandchildren felt the softness of the smooth teak sanded wood The blend of wood color, both light and dark are beautiful. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice indoor or outdoor bench seating option. 5 stars.

I am using this for a flower presentation area on my deck - away from the Deer!
