La qualité des images n'est pas trop à la hauteur par rapport à une bonnette par exemple, cependant, c'est un kit pratique. L'objectif est bien monté et la possibilité de mettre un filtre au bout est indispensable.

Way to go if you're trying out macro photography
I bought this product to try macro with a Nikon D300 and leverage my excellent Nikon 28-70 ("the beast") and 70-200 lenses. I also have a Tokina 11-16. All these lenses have a 77mm thread.First impressions:- The parts are well made with a good fit and finish.- The 77mm reversing ring fits snugly onto the camera as any lens would.- I mounted the 28-70 on the ring first. This is a big heavy lens. It threaded onto the mount and mounted seamlessly onto the camera. It looks and feels just like any other lens. It has a good solid mount.- The aperture control piece mounts onto the "camera end" of the lens and comes with a glass filter and cap! A very nice touch to protect the vulnerable end of very expensive lenses. It makes me feel a lot better about working with my expensive lenses in a real world environment.- The end piece allows you to control aperture. A quarter turn will take you from wide open to completely stopped down. That's been very handy not having to fool with the aperture ring on the lens, if you even have one. That means you can have aperture control with Nikon "DX" lenses developed specifically for digital with no aperture ring on the lens itself.Everything worked as advertised. It makes for a very solid unit to mount on your tripod our use free hand if you're so disposed. I love the ability to control the aperture by just twisting the piece on the end of the lens. If you read anything on lens reversing for macro, they all talk about how critical, most times difficult, aperture control can be.Conclusion:If you're looking for a cheap way to get into macro and already own some nice glass, this is definitely the way to go. It will introduce you to a whole new universe without having to worry about damaging your equipment. A great buy.

Works well though missing a small piece
What's included seems pretty decent - both the reversal ring and the aperture controller fit well to my camera and lenses. The included UV filter isn't anything fancy, but does the job.The one missing piece is a cap for the aperture controller for when it's not attached to a lens. You need something like this in order to be able to leave the UV filter on it - otherwise the back of the filter is exposed to whatever you might have floating around in your camera bag. The filter does come in a nice little circular plastic container though, which is a nice touch and keeps it well protected when detached. The reversal ring threads well to various Nikon lenses. I chose 77mm specifically because I figured I could use it with step-up rings to adapt any lens, and indeed it works well (at least with Fotodiox step-up rings). I didn't find any particulate residue on the ring, neither when it arrived nor after each use, so it seems safe enough to use around the exposed camera sensor.

AWESOME, they thought of everything in this kit
this is the best you can buy if not going full auto route - you get reversing ring adapter, then the aperture control, then the filter to protect your rear end of lens and your rear end, then the cap - i think if you let sit in direct sun not that you woul intentionally, it could burn your sensor like magnifying glass depending on how wide your focal length was at the time - zoomed down to 19mm would provide excellent mag while 60mm would be less concentrating the sun back on your sensor - on 19mm(tamron 19-35) i took a picture of half of my pinkie finger with all ridges showing. this is best because when used with old lens the lever allows you to see the size of aperture for correct DOF for older lenses - as you remove the lens your aperture closes down, if you dont have this adjusting ring you try holding the aperture lever but then you dont have both hands free to steady and focus your million dollar shot. great buy and would do again if i bought a different camera.

I think it's well worth the money and is a fun acquisition. It will provide additional functionality to your ...
Solid build. Metal reverse ring fits snugly onto the camera's body. The additional lens aperture control with the complimentary U.V filter adds convenience and lens protection. I haven't noticed any degradation of images with the filter attached. As a result, it will remain on. It quite frankly, looks elegant. Overall, I think it's well worth the money and is a fun acquisition. It will provide additional functionality to your already existing arsenal of supported lenses for a fraction of the cost of a full fledged macro lens.
