Tap Index, Jobber Length, Steel

I just recently purchased six boxes.. 3NC and 3 NF.. The NC boxes are just fine but the NF boxes have a problem.. The punched holes that hold the# 33 drill bit are oversize and that allows the bit to fall out of the rack.. That allows the bit to get under the rack and won't allow it to flip up.. Huot used to be better than that... Question? Does The Huot Company have a recall or a suggested fix for the problem.. Do I just need to return the NF drill boxes?"Correction" After a quick response from The Huot Company.. I found that the problem was not with the drill index, It was the incorrect drill size.. Great USA made product. It's great to be able to get these boxes empty and fill them with what stock I already have. Can't stop buying these things. :-)

Works as it should.

finding my taps faster cut down on production times, Huot is always a good investment . Disappointed both NC and NF boxes have both 10-32 and 10-24 places when a # 5 could have been added room for a bottom tap I guess. looking for a smaller index now

Although I have changed jobs and don't use this on a daily basis any more when I did it was very nice to have to throw in my push cart that I could take around the building without taking up too much valuable space. I like having my tools organized and not having random drill bits and taps floating around my tool box!

I do extensive field service work these indexes are perfect for keeping taps & drills ready and portable , mine are in use constantly no more digging in the pockets or bottoms of the tool bags looking for loose taps and the right drill bits . Big time & money & saver
