Solid, thick steel and great fitment. I haven’t drilled out the 4th bolt hold into the tube and yet it holds pretty solid

I bought this because I thought this would look good (it does). As soon as it arrived I was impressed with the construction and durability. Easy to install, really does look good and truly will protect the steering box from impact. The TJ should have come from the factory with this.

It is made by WARN so you know it is going to be top shelf. Simple install with just one 3/8 hole to drill. The torx bolt on the stock bumper (2001 Wrangler) is a T55. Go to an auto store as the big box hardware store in my town only had T50.

Very sturdy!!! I came in too hot on a hill, went airborne and landed with point of contact skid plate to rock. Damn near broke my back but not a scratch on this thing! Saved my gear box and so much more!

Installed really easily with the included directions. Fit perfect.It has some scratches now, but that's the point. I've hit it pretty hard and there is no dent or distortion. I don't have to worry about my steering box at all while on the trail.Absolutely worth the money for this product to go with WARN.

The product is made with quality. Beware if you have an after market bumper or you have quick disconnects and the parking post mounted on frame near steering box. It took a little modification, but the skid plate worked and the disconnects can be attached to the parking post.
