This Is My Go-To Peanut Butter! I'll Never Have Anything Other Than This.
I personally loved this peanut butter. I came across this at my local nutrition store. The only downfall is the price but if you're really looking to get all those macros in then you know it's worth the sacrifice. It was more expensive when I bought it at my local nutrition store so luckily I was able to find it here and save a couple of bucks every time I buy it.Now, of course it's not going to have the same texture or the exact same taste as regular peanut butter. You can't realistically think that it will. It's a high protein, of course it's going to be a little different. I've had a spoonful, I've had it in shakes and I've had it as a spread, and not matter which why I've eaten it, it's really good. Never had an aftertaste or anything like that. The texture is a little different, it's not as creamy as regular peanut butter, it's a noticeably a tad more grainy...probably something along the lines of wet sand (fyi I've never eaten wet sand, that's just the closest I can come to describing it). It's also a little harder to spread than regular peanut butter, I tore my slice of bread the first time I spread it but you get accustomed to it. One thing I did notice was that I had to mix it before every time I was about to get a serving because the water in it tends to rise to the top. Just a couple of swirls with a spoon or butter knife and you'll be good to go.If you love peanut butter, love white chocolate and you're looking for a high protein blend to fulfill you're daily macro intake then this is the peanut butter for you. I have never turned back and I doubt that you will once you get a taste of it.

Great cashew butter with caramel taste.
I've tried numerous high protein nut butters, including ones from P28, Nuts N' More, Buff Bake, and Manbake and this is one of the better ones. Note that it's a cashew butter, which is fairly uncommon in the high protein nut butter world. The Calorie/protein ratio is pretty good at 240 Cal/14 g protein. This has more fat than most high protein butters, but I assume that's because of the cashew. The sugar content is also low at only 3 grams. The taste is very good on this one. Definitely taste the caramel, but it's the dominant flavor. I generally thick chocolate caramel when I hear caramel turtle, but I'm missing the chocolate notes. Still, great taste, and I don't notice the graininess that you sometimes get with high protein nut butters. The consistency is good, though you will notice minimal separation in the oils if you leave it out. However, putting in the fridge results in an unspreadable consistency. I'll often take a small 20 gram serving for a treat after lunch and leave it in the refrigerator. It doesn't get so hard that you can't eat it with a plastic spoon, and it warms up quickly.Price wise I got it for $15.68, which is a little on the expensive side, but likely due to it being a cashew butter. P28 peanut butters are more reasonable at $11.69/jar, but this will last you a long time unless you're eating spoonfuls of it.This will be a mainstay in my protein peanut butter arsenal, and I highly recommend it.

The Only Nut Butter in My Life
This stuff is amazing, I have it on a recurring subscription. I have tried multiple almond butters, peanut butters, cashew, coconut and the list goes on. Ranging from cheap to expensive, organic to GMO ridden. At the end of the day it comes down to nutrition facts (first) and taste (second). The great part about this product is you don't have to sacrifice one for the other.Pros- 14g of protein to 2g of sugar (this is something you aren't going to find elsewhere)- Taste is phenomenal, it doesn't have the burnt taste of healthier dark roasts and still has some sweetness that eludes most almond butters that have low sugarCons- Where is the poly and monounsaturated fat on the label? I see 14g of fat, 1.5g sat fat, but i'd like to know where the rest of it falls- Slight con, you do have to stir this product when it first arrives as it does separate (this happens with most all healthy nut butters)All in all, great product and I am branching out and trying the other flavors as well.

Open with care!
During the week-long shipping process and subsequent week spent sitting on the counter top prior to opening, this product separated a lot. When I finally opened it, the liquid/oil that had separated to the top spilled everywhere. I guess that's my fault for being too eager to open the jar, but should also be a warning to others. I stuck a spoon in and mixed...and mixed...and mixed, finally left with something that wasn't too thin to qualify as "spread." Once the product reaches this state, which is how I assume it was meant to be enjoyed, I give it a 5 out of 5. Yes, it lost a star for the huge greasy mess I had to clean up in the middle of the night, however it does taste good and is something I use (along with the white chocolate flavor) as a quick, nutritious snack on the go and even as a quick energy booster prior to going to the gym.

Hard to mix. Tastes like protein powder (chalky, grainy). Weak peanut butter flavor. Love the raisin bits, though.
Upon arrival, all I saw was a bunch of oil (probably peanut oil) on top, a bunch of raisins on the bottom, and everything else in between. It clearly needed to be stirred, but as I grabbed a fork and tried to stir it, it was thicker than thick -- and nearly impossible to stir without getting a workout for your wrist (and making a small mess in the process). It took about two 5-minute sessions of intense stirring to make the product look like it was ready to eat... and I still need to stir it a bit before each use. Taste-wise, the flavor is more like a thick banana-raisin protein powder emulsified in peanut butter and peanut oil. The peanut oil is definitely secondary to the banana and bits of raisins. It also certainly has that signature "chalk-like" taste and texture of protein powder. It's edible, and tolerable. It has 75% more protein than regular peanut butter (2 tablespoon serving; 8g in peanut butter vs. 14g in this P28 product), but also slightly more calories per 2 tbsp serving (both around 200 calories). It definitely packs more protein per ounce than regular peanut butter, but to me, it's not worth the taste.
