Nice Rack!
I read comments that the rack was noisy. Mine was not. Make sure you install the crossbars with the flat finished side forward. I have no noise problems during high or low speed driving. The install is quick and easy. My only thought is to replace the supplied bolts with stainless steel if and when they start to rust. Good value rack

Caution ! Best to change out the bolts provided with the product
Easy install. Very useful. I experienced an issue with the bolts provided by the manufacture. I installed the rack on my 2010 Transit Connect. I specifically purchased the rack to transport a custom door I built to a clients home for installation. The rack went together smoothly. The crossbar bolts to well made mounts , with the use of bolts that ride in a channel. This makes install a quick and accurate process. You can adjust the crossbar exactly on center. Makes for a clean appearance. After placing the door onto the rack, I noticed one of the bolts holding the crossbar to the mounting bracket had broken. As if it had been over tightened. Perhaps I did? I have worked in trades all my life. I seem to have a good concept of tight. I drove to my clients home ( some 24 miles away) in doubt. Worried I would loose the door on the freeway. I never did. Made it all the way with no issue. The door was very heavy. 9’ , 2’8”, solid wood. Over 125 pounds. Perhaps that was a factor? I will be making a trip over to Ace Hardware to find some Grade 8 replacement bolts and nuts. Just a better safe, than sorry, choice on my part.Overall, very satisfied. Happy I found this item on Amazon

An easy install on the Ford Transit!
My Ford Transit Connect had the mount ports built into the roof! Just unscrew the cover bolts, put a bit of sealant on and bolt the rack into place. No instructions but if you look at the drawing, look at the van, look at the drawing again - it comes together. Some reviews complain that the rack is noisy. It is at speeds over 40 MPH. I fixed that by placing a tight bungee between the racks - the noise (from expected vibration of the bars) went away. Not a problem!
