This is the right one.
I did a good bit of research before I bought this laser level. Not only did it check all the boxes but has features I didn't think I would need. But they have turned out to be quite useful. I'm not a professional, just a serious DIY guy remodeling our downstairs. The laser is bright green and seems to show up better than a red angle laser I bought several years ago. This thing throws enough vertical and horizontal lines to satisfy any need I will have. I thought the remote control was overkill but it has turned out to be the biggest surprise of all... Very convenient and useful. And the apparatus that comes with it to hang it most anywhere really is a plus. My drop-down ceiling will be perfectly level and square thanks to this guy. And it didn't hurt that it was on sale for Prime Days.I thought about buying a cheaper one but after I watched the videos I found on it I decided to take a chance and go up to the Takamine. I had never heard of them before but the quality seems to be top notch. So glad I got it. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks so I can't comment on long-term durability. But as far as function goes you can't beat it. I was also impressed with the case it came in to protect it.I'm not going to create a video because there are already some good ones about this product. And you should watch a couple that show all the features of this level. The only negative thing I can say is that the beams are briefly interrupted by the bars that hold a protective shield above each laser. But they aren't show stoppers and I don't think they could have been avoided. The shields do need to be there. And remember never to look at the laser directly.I highly recommend this product. If it continues to function as it has so far I will be totally pleased.

Impressive
I wasn't expecting much with this Chinesium? or Japanesium, but its actually really good product for my needs. Great price. or an acceptable price. They need to have instructions on turning on the pulse so the laser receiver works.I had to dig the interweb to finally find a brief recap

Perfect for many uses.
Lines are a very bright green, easy to use. Solid value buy compared to name brands. Highly suggest you buy.

Great, but the adjustable arm needs stronger magnets
I really like the laser. The lines are much easier to see than the red of previous lasers. I wish they were finer, but they're the same as any other laser I've used. The remote works well. The battery lasts a long time, like forever, it seems. The case is great. The buttons on the side are touch activated, not clicking, which confuses me, since everything else I have has clicking buttons. The one thing I really don't like is the adjustable arm - The magnets are NOT strong enough. If the laser is out towards the end where you get the most adjustability, it can seem secure, but come off at any time from some slight vibration, making it a dicey proposition to stick on a wall with the plate or on a metal stud. There should be more, or stronger, magnets to keep from dropping the laser. I kept it anyway and mostly use a tripod.

Easy to Use - Hanging Option Great
Wanted to buy a green laser, 3-axis level for some home improvement projects. I had an old red laser one that was 15+ years old (Craftsman), but wanted an upgrade to the more visible green laser. The name brand ones at the big box home improvement stores were outrageous in price. My wife suggested I look on Amazon and we found this Takamine model that had good accuracy and some nice features that the name brand ones didn't have including a very nice magnetic hanger with 3-axis adjustments. Seemed like a reasonable price so we decided to give it a try.It works great. Really like the remote, the removable battery, and the hard case. But the adjustable, magnetic hanging device is the best feature. Purchased an inexpensive piece of steel, screwed it to my wall, and was able to infinity adjust the laser to line up all my grout lines in my shower. Very handy. The only real negative is that it doesn't seem to really turn off. If you leave the battery installed, it tends to drain. So between use, just slide the battery off and it does not drain.

Good tool, poor shipping
I just got my level a couple of days ago and have only used it once, but it worked great. It has a nice heafty feel to it and the guards around all of the lasers and metal, not plastic.I had been borrowing my neighbors 180 degree laser level for several months so my wife said I needed to buy my own. Wow, what a great difference that a 360 degree level is and is going to be! The rechargeable battery and remote control is just frosting on the cake.

As advertised.
The unit is, as advertised. The only niggly issue is the manual is a little light on info.We couldn't figure out how to attach the laser to the bracket until looking at the photos on amazon. It connects to the top of the laser, for those that are wondering.

Good product for the price
Useful product for the price. Does not come with goggles for this 360 degree line really hurt my eyes…battery is okay capacity for now. But reviews said no replacement/spare can be found. So be aware to charge it before all the way out

Excellent!
Bought this unit for a couple of reasons. First, it was substantially less expensive than some of the other major manufacturers. Second, I was looking for a laser that would help me accurately locate pot light cut outs after ceiling drywall installation. I came up with a system to get the pot light center (with the laser) and make a reference point on the subfloor. Later, use the laser aligned to the reference point on the floor to project the center of the pot light on the ceiling. Also, an excellent unit for projecting 360 degree horizontal lines for upper cabinet installation, etc.
