I have bought these numerous times and have had no issues until yesterday. I had purchased one a few months back and had stored it in my home till needed. Well, yesterday I needed it and I tried to plug it in and it started smoking and shooting sparks. I didn't even get to plug anything into it before it started smoking. I never tried to use it till yesterday as I've never had this happen before with these cords. I believe I was given a dud. I would appreciate if I could send it back and get a working cord as I'd like to purchase more products but am upset that I spent so much for this one for nothing. Please let me know what I can do to assist in getting this resolved so I can continue enjoying your products in the future as I love yellow as a color for my business. Otherwise, great product, highly recommend it, and always insist on the color.

Ever buy a product listed as "Heavy Duty" only to discover it's anything but? Not this one! It is awesome!

This heavy duty extension cord isn’t as heavy-duty as I thought it’d be, but it’s a great cord nonetheless. It seems to be very tough with how I’ve used it (construction company). I like the fact it shows when there is power running to the cord, and it has a nice size gauge to it. Would recommend for light construction use or home use.

Nice quality and very good connections. This is my third Yellow Jacket cord and find them to be very durable compared to the others I have purchased over the years. Unlike some cords, the blades and ground pins are strong and won't bend or pull loose with repeated heavy use. You get what you pay for and this cord is worth the price. You won't need to replace it and it will last a lifetime.

But this one for the workshop and it hasn't fail me yet. Use it outside in the rain, in the winter even and it remains fairly flexible. Like the LED in the plug to let you know you have juice on the line. Thinking about buying a second one even.
