Natural Polished GemstonesThere is just something special about polished stones! I have been in love with rocks and gemstones since the time I was a young boy. I still remember the first time my family went to North Carolina and visited the gem mines. I was fascinated then and still am.I started collecting gemstones in my teens, learned to polish and facet in my 20's and started my bead business in my 30's. I have now been in the bead/gemstone business for over 20 years and have loved every minute. We travel abroad often to find new amazing products and love sharing them with our friends and you. It's a great feeling when you step out of your vehicle at a rough supplier to look at the new stones they have acquired from mines around the world. For our nuggets and chips we are always on the lookout for small piles of stone that can be polished to make our selections. The gemstone factories don't waste a thing and will keep very small pieces left over from making beads or carvings in the hope that they will find a buyer for them by polishing them and sorting into size groups. We have a great time in our searching and I hope you will love our offerings. Always feel free to reach out to us with comments or requests. We love what we do and our hope is that you will fall in love with stones too :)

Exactly as pictured
Came Quicker than expected. Beautiful stones exactly what I ordered. Would definitely recommend.

Weird pale yellow/green colouring
Not thrilled with the weird pale yellow/green colouring. Pictured with my own citrine (typically a warm sunshine yellow) for comparison.

For my purposes, an excellent deal!
I purchased all 20 varieties offered by this seller on Amazon for a class I am giving young students on rocks and minerals. For what I am doing, these tumbled stones are fine, but they may not be for everyone’s purpose. The accompanying photograph is how I mounted the largest of the specimens on a card (with a penny for comparison). Most (70 percent) of all specimens in a given bag I received are approximately 50 percent smaller than the largest mounted specimen (see the stones in the partitioned containers). The other 25 percent of the specimens were significantly smaller than the majority size. The remaining 5 or so percent of all stones were either larger or smaller than the majority (95 percent) of the stones, but mostly smaller (significantly smaller).

Great for dressing up a small succulent
The colors and size of the chips were exactly as I expected (I had a lot of trouble finding truly "small" pebbles, as a lot of other listings are intended for larger backyards & gardening), and the half pound quantity was the perfect amount for the small indoor succulent I had bought them for.

Nice but too little for too much!
I purchased two bags to use as a topper on some small succulent pots. They’re very nice polished gemstone chips that look great BUT, I should have paid more attention to the quantity! I got 1/2 pound for ~ $12. That’s $24 per pound!! What I didn’t realize was how little 1/2 pound is. Not much. This product is way overpriced. They should give you at least a pound for $12. At this price, using it as a topper will cost you as much as the plant and pot.
