Got this to run my Chromecast on Ethernet instead of WiFi and add a USB drive to keep all the apps off the Chromecast. Right out of the box it works great with the USB and power block that come with the Chromecast. Probably been about 2 months now with no issues. Would definitely recommend. Maybe if you load up the adapter you may need a more powerful charging block.

Very solidly built unit that draws less power than comparable USB hubs which allows you to use it with the Chromecast Google tv without adding a power source. This allows you to plug in a webcam or slot in portable hard drives and jump drives with ease. Well worth the slightly more expensive price.

This hub did not even power on with the CCWGTV power plug. I thought I may have received a dud. So I tried another one (I bought two straight away, as I have two Chromecasts). And got the same result, nothing! (Also tried with my second Chromecast adapter)Hub worked fine with a Samsung fast charger and my oculus quest charger.So please be aware you may have to shell out a few extra bucks for a more powerful charger, had you planned on using the original Chromecast 7.5w charger!I could not get any combination of USB a to USB c cable to work (I have several of these type chargers) I recommend your USB charge cable has USB c connection on both ends

I got this purely for the Chromecast Google TV and it works perfectly. Every port from the usb to Ethernet port was working. I’m using a 60w PD with it since I already have one lying around at home.
