We love to learn about different cultures, so when we heard about this title from the Internet, it was a no brainer to order it. My girls have never had dim sum, but we feel like we are ready to try it now! The story is beautifully illustrated and uses native Cantonese terms that are transliterated so anyone can read it! Very adorable and highly recommended!

A beautifully crafted story that teaches you about Chinese cuisine and the many dishes that dim sum offers. You also learned the Cantonese words for the dishes! Alister Felix has written a joyous story on the love of food, and Yenna Mariana's illustrations are colorful and vibrant that brings every page to life. It is fantastic to see the Chinese representation, and I hope all families have an opportunity to share the love together!

Amazing and adorable book! I’ve purchased and given these away to ~5 children. I get regular texts from their parents saying it’s one of their favorite bed time books. At least one child found it so irresistible she tried to eat the pages!

Representation matters and I finally saw my younger self in this book. From the bowl cut to the baos this is such a cute story. I’m so happy to see a book like this written. It’s so important kids see themselves in these stories.

An adorable book, love the watercolor illustrations and sweet wording and sounds. Now I can't wait to take my son to Yum Cha and hope he will finally eat something (he's a typical picky 3 year old)

Not much of a story, and not much text as well, it just shows the different kind of food, but the drawings are adorable.

Lovely yumcha themed story with some cantonese words. Kids loved the story. Good mini intro to cantonese yumcha cuisine and culture.

I loved it! It is an easy read, the illustrations are so cute and it captures everything that one would experience having dimsum at a restaurant. It reminded me of the Sundays I would go yum cha with my family and relatives.

This book is so cute, I wish I had something like this when I was young. Representation is so important :)
