I'm no pro so I can't critique whether or not this calibrated true for humidity. Just needed it for the winter to measure humidity in my room with no fuss (since my humidifier isn't fancy or new enough to measure that itself). Works well, has big numbers, switches from C/F with the press of a button.As for temperature, I tested it against two thermometers and it was +/- 1 to them so I wasn't too worried on that front.If it came with an optional on/off of a dim light to read at night that would have been great but other than that very pleased with it.

We bought this to measure the humidity in our house to decide if the house was dry enough to go the extra mile and install a system to the furnace that would do the entire house.This was suggested by the heating professional. So far this little gadget has proved very accurate . It is self explanatory to read , accurate, and inexpensive. I recommend this if you just need a simple temperature and humidity indicator without spending a lot of money. I've only had this a week so I can't say how long the battery will last.

This is Oscar Jaeger, Lois's husband. We use this hygrometer to monitor the humidity in our apartment. We are using a Miro NR08 Humidifier to moisten the air which would otherwise be bone-dry, due to the needwe have in the winter season to use portable electric heaters. There is a trade-off between the ideal temperature and the ideal humidity: raising the first metric lowers the second. This hygrometer provides us with accurate information about both metrics.

This thermometer works great if you need to track the temperature and humidity of a small area. I did not realize how small the device would actually be - so check the size if you're looking for a larger thermometer. All in all, it's a great value for what you get. Only takes 1 battery, and I haven't had it long enough to speak to battery life.

I needed a thermometer/hygrometer to monitor humidity in a closet that was damp. This unit was perfect. I calibrated it against more sophisticated gauges and it was right on. Small enough to sit on a desktop or counter and big enough to have all the information you need. I especially like the history feature. You can look back to see fluctuations in temp/humidity. Simple to understand. Reacts quickly to changes in temp/humidity. I might get a couple of these for garage, refrigerator, basement etc. A bargain at this price!

I don't know how accurate this is. I say this because we had a humidifier installed on our furnace and recently we've found yellow/gold water stains on our walls. This hygrometer says the humidity level is comfortable and within normal range. It can't be, with the moisture on our walls. Humidifier is set at 20. We had a floor humidifier for 2 years and never experienced this issue. 3rd winter in this house. I don't know.

Purchased unit for humidity function and a second unit as a backup (different brand). Unit consistently gave reading 6 to 7 points higher than second unit. Further checking revealed 2nd unit was accurate, but this unit was not. Temperature function was good. Would not recommend purchasing.

Perfect for what I needed them for. I needed to keep en eye on my snakes encloses. For the most part they match my herpstat. When is doesn't match perfectly it is close. So I would say fairly accurate. Happy camper here. :)

This is a fantastic thermometer and humidity monitor. It has a sleek, minimal design with plenty of mounting options. It can be free-standing with the flip-down stand; hung on the wall via the screw hole to the rear; or attached to a fridge or other metal surface with the built-in magnet. There are even rubber pads to prevent it from sliding down the fridge! The display is clear and easy to read with the option for fahrenheit or centigrade units, and there is an indication of whether the humidity is too dry, wet, or just right. You can also see the max and min for both temperature and humidity over the last 24 hours or all time and I love the little trend arrows that give an indication of whether the temperature or humidity is rising, falling, or stable. I am a little stumped as to why this is priced so cheap given all of the features, but there you go. Excellent bit of kit at a great price.

This is really easy to use, with no complicated settings (unlike many electronic gadgets). I've no reliable way of checking the accuracy of the hygrometer but I've checked the temperature reading against a conventional thermometer I know to be accurate, which leads me to believe the digital thermometer I received is accurate within about 0.3 of a degree centigrade.

No setup needed other than to choose C or F. Comes with battery, nice touch.Clear and simple display of temp and humidity with changes shown over 24 hours and across all time.Can't complain really it does what it says it does. If it had a larger display and then could squeeze time and date on, but then it'd be a clock!Buy if this is what you need, nice small package, very portable, can't mark it down.

It did exactly what it said and helped my identity damp areas at home in my bid to kill black mould!

It a digital thermometer what more can I say. Has a nifty little magnet on the back so no drilling or screwing needed to hang it. Let's me monitor the temp and dampness in the shed.
