If you need a keyboard / case this is probably one of the best options
I wanted a nice protective case for my iPad Air (Gen 5) and I found one at a fraction of the price Apple wanted and it was (is) a really good case and has one of the best pencil storage methods I have seen. I was happy, until things changed and I needed a keyboard. So after looking at the Apple smart keyboard - very impressive but not much in the way of protection and THAT PRICE ! Someone suggested a Zagg so I got one and it's almost perfect for me. Almost because nothing ever is, let's be honest.The case and the keyboard can be separated but that does mean that iPad no longer has a screen cover when not in use. They are joined magnetically, other magnets attach the pencil (and charge it). The material is some type of soft touch plastic and it offers a good deal of support for the iPad and claims 6ft of drop protection (I don't plan on testing that). Keyboard has a number of dedicated hotkeys and is fully IOS compatible. The typing experience is not too dissimilar to an apple keyboard although obviously it is smaller and it is not an Apple keyboard but it's easy enough to type on - in fact I'm typing this on it. Connection is via Bluetooth and it has a 2nd bluetooth option for pairing with something else (MacBook? iPhone?) OK there are cheaper options if you need a folio keyboard case and this doesn't allow your iPad to appear like it is magically floating in mid air or have the Apple price tag. If you need one (or just want one) this is as good as it gets without needing to mortgage your house. My iPad Air M1 has now become almost a MacBook Air

Great fit. Very secure and the keyboard was very simple to link. The pen holder is very handy and the different angle options are great. Very very pleased.

Great keyboard for the iPad Air turns it into a laptop!
Bought the keyboard to go with my 10.9 inch iPad Air. Excellent! Gives me all the functionality of a laptop yet compact, and sturdy.

Great iPad Air Keyboard
A great and cheaper alternative to the official Apple Keyboards. A really good quality keyboard with useful shortcut keys.Only downside is it must be connected to the iPad physically to be used and cannot be used while detached.

Does not do what you think!
If you look at the picture and think this does what the Apple keyboard does you would be wrong. This case does not suspend your Ipad in the air as the picture suggests, its just an ordinary keyboard case. Misleading images should be removed immediately.

I bought this for my daughter to use at University attached to her iPad air 4th Generation. It works grand and is a quality product and alot better value than, Apple's own
