It is worth it to spend a little more for these over cheaper alternatives. The action gauge measurements begin right at the edge of the metal, so there is no offset, the fret guards are resilient to my filing methods and it's so much quicker than covering the neck in painter tape. The peg remover keychain leaves a bit to be desired, my string winder/peg remover works much better. The radius guides are well crafted, no sharp edges and not at all flimsy. This is a good set for someone who wants to start doing their own guitar maintenance.

The items were exactly as described. Its a nice set of tools. They'll get lots of use. I have 9 bass guitars. The order came when expected.

As advertised. The radius guages and string action ruler are just fine. They seem to be good quality, they're advertised as stainless steel. I'm not sure about the fretboard protectors. Both had some discoloration. The peg lifter is just a piece of plastic, nothing special. The radius guages and string action ruler make this a good buy. The quality of these items is very good and less than what you will pay from "big name" luthier suppliers. Not that I mind paying for quality, but stainless steel is what it is. Marking it up because a name is on it is a rip off. The guages and ruler alone make this a good buy.

I am a novice guitar player, but with these tools I was able to get my guitar to play IN TUNE. I watched a few YouTube videos, and adjusted the truss rod, string height, and intonation. Plays better than new!
