SunliteD-Cruiser Handlebar, 32" W x 25" H x 7/8", Black

These bars don’t have an enlarged center point for the stem to clamp down. My bicycle needed that with the original stem. I had an old bmx style stem for smooth bars that worked great. I’m sure there are clamping plates available but I didn’t bother with that. Very nice bars. If you’re looking for something to set your bike apart from the crowd this is it. Perfect height and very comfortable for tall people. Great value for the money and look that I wanted.

Before I purchased I read reviews and someone mentioned that they needed to use shims so I purchased some as well just to be one the safe side. I think I'm only using one of the shims? Maybe I don't even need? Otherwise, as you can see they look great, wrapped in yellow electrical tape in the photo.

These came packaged well and are nice looking. I went to install only to find out my old handlebars are thicker where they clamp into the stem. I need to get a new stem (BMX double clamp style most likely) to install handlebars. I know you can buy shims, but I’d rather it clamp directly to handlebars. This was an oversight on my part. Definitely cannot wait to put these on my cruiser bike.

I'm 6'4" tall and these fit me perfectly. If you plan to install them onto a Huffy Cranbrook be sure to pick up some shims. They really make your cruiser/project stand out.Further update, handle bars work great but notice they flex easily and they bend. Not sure if this is normal or not. Four stars for bending in such a short time.

Awesome bars. Bends are even, from what I see, fairly good quality for the price. One item to note: Because of how high these bars sit, they create a good amount of torque leverage when gripping them. The did not seat very solidly in the clamp I originally had on my bike. They will probably require a stem equipped with four bolts as opposed to the two or even one bolt clamp that most beach cruisers come with. I am currently waiting for my four bolt stem to arrive. I'll need to update this following that application. FYI: The four bolt was around $20, and there is a good variety on Amazon.

Love these they are Fun and look Cool. Every where I go on my bike people complement me. I was hesitant at first to go that high, beacuse I was afraid that my arms would get tired. Thats not the case though it is a very confortable ride. The one important thing you should know is that If you have a cheaper Bike with the one screw system to clamp your handle bars down you will have to up grade to a 4 screw mount to keep them from moving. Even then they will Flex a bit beacuse of how tall they are. I was able to get one for under 20 off line so not a real big deal.

These are truly Ape Hangers. They look sick on my Schwinn occ Chopper. Everyone comments on them. And want to know were I got them. They turn a lot of heads. I LOVE EM.
