Q: Can I add it to milk?

You can add it to any liquid, even soup. You will have to try the milk out to see if you like it thickened. My husband did not like thickened milk or coffee, but used it in juice, broth and any other liquid. Hope this helps you.

Q: Why does this product not thicken liquids when the recommended amount is mixed in? Also, why does the liquid thin out after some time?

I never had a problem. Mix it with a fork like beating an egg, let it sit for a moment be sure you are putting in the right amount for the consistency honey, pudding etc.

Q: whats the expiry date of them?

I usually buy a case of 12 that last a month. The expiry date depends on when you buy it. This new order is stamped for September 2017 at the bottom of the container.
