Clear and Accurate Readings
This review is for the Gogogo Sport VPro Golf Range Finder 800/1200 yards with a red display laser and slope switch with 6X magnification. It does some cool things for golfers like lock the flag in, and shows the shortest distance with the scan range, so you don’t have to worry about locking the target behind the flagpole; after you stop scanning, the slope and the slope compensation distance will be displayed. The best part of all that is the manual goes over all of that for us newbies. The company advertises it more as a Golf Range Finder but it’s also good for wider applications like hunting, bow hunting, archery, target shooting and mountain climbing. It also has and adaptive OLED red display that get brighter in a darker environment, so you’ll be able to read the display. It has a liquid crystal display, I’m not sure what that is technically but they say it gives you a clearer view and I must agree. You adjust the eyepiece and adjust your focus to 6X magnification, and it’s made with a curve in the design of the body and fits comfortably in your hand. I’ve used it for different applications and to be honest didn’t read the manual first, I decided to play with it first and it’s straightforward. This last thing I will say is it comes with a battery that’s not rechargeable and that’s an issue for some. Luckily the unit has a low battery reminder but these days everything comes with rechargeable batteries it’s just easier and more cost effective. So, I looked it up and this type of battery does come in a rechargeable battery so there ya go win, win. I would recommend it.

Not bad
The brand is fairly decent from previous experience and this one is satisfactory. Would have been nice to have a battery that wasn't dead in the box!!

it works But, only when it wants too...
goes thru AAA batteries fast!powers off before it has had a chance to finish scanning for distance.50/50 chance your going to get a yardage reading before it powers off.If your on a golf course that has a policy of playing "Ready golf". you're going to get a visit from the start/time keeper to either pick up your pace of play or leave the course.

Not accurate
At first I thought this range finder was good. Then I tried others that my friends were using and realized this is not a great range finder. The issue is I can shoot the same target 3-4 times and get 3-4 very different distances. I wish I could return it or upgrade it but I think it is too late.

Turns on but never works
- Made in China- Battery single CR123A- Firm shell case, lanyard, water resistant zipperFirst, this isn't rechargeable like all the rest I've been seeing lately. My fault for not noticing. The batteries aren't terribly expensive but it's annoying to me so I thought I'd mention.I've only tried one other rangefinder and I did not get along with it for several reasons. This shares some of those reasons.- Power button turns it on and then acts as trigger. There is no off button but it defaults off after 10 secs. That's way too fast- It requires tons of light to work, the same as the other one, but this one didn't mention it in the info. I think it's lame that it needs so much light but I guess that's how they are so I'll have to accept it- Magnification can't be turned off. I think this is why it won't work on closer objects. That gets in my way- I get no special red display in the darkAdditionally, I can't get it to register anything at all. The crosshair and on-screen incons are in black and difficult to see. No range, no speed, nothing. All indicator fields remain dashes. This one also has a far shorter focus range.I don't get it. I can't make it work. I'm done with rangefinders from foreign AliBaba-eques resellers.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you.
