A Good Thing Happened Today Hardcover – Picture Book, April 12, 2022

Christmas present for my 8-year old great niece. Showed her older sister first and the message was the first thing that caught her eye. My great niece loved it.

What a good book. I didn't think my three year old grandson would be all that interested but we read it over and over. He loves trucks and vehicles so he liked the page with the water truck. He was also very interested in the repairs made in Puerto Rico. I liked that the book was interspersed with true stories and how anyone can fill the world with kindness. It was also really nice to see the links to more information at the end of the true stories. We especially followed up on that water truck.

Once I bought this book for my child he has been attached ever since. Whenever I read this book to him his face lights up. I honestly think this book is such a good concept and is amazing to teach our children not just about bad thing but good things in life.

I saw this book featured on the TODAY Show and decided to order it for my daughter. She's a teacher and just started a "kindness club" at school. I thought this would be a great resource. It brought a tear to my eye -- thoughtfully written! My daughter thought so as well and said it was a hit with the kids when she read it. This was a GREAT purchase! My thanks to the author!!

This story was a delightful read. It reminds us all that even small actions affect those around us. It also used real stories to remind us that the world is a big place full of good people. Its a great book to read to classrooms. Kindness to the word of the year in my daughters school and this book helps reflect that.

This book is beautifully illustrated and the stories are true to life depictions of actual events. Good things DO happen every day. This book inspires the reader to be kind. Loved each page and every message.

Just what the Doctor ordered for the little ones in a world that seems obsessed with spreading bad news.

I purchased this for my 7 year old grandson’s birthday. In today’s world, we need to be reminded that a good thing happened today. (Trying to help my kiddos keep their rose-colored glasses on as long as possible!)

We're French and my 2 years old daughter loves this book! Even if she doesn't understand it yet, she really enjoys the drawings and positivity from this book.I think telling real stories through a children's book is a fantastic idea. I hope there will be another one ;)

I loved the idea of this book and bought it for my niece knowing it may be a bit advanced however, she absolutely LOVES it and asks Daddy to read it most nights. One of her favourite parts is about the man from Bogota Colombia!
