Did not enjoy at all...very sloooooowwwwww. Hope #3 is better
I started with book #1 of the series and enjoyed it. The "detective" was about my age (yeah). I was pulling the clues together until the end - wasn't expecting who was the killer. I was excited to find a new series. This book is absolutely not my favorite so if the next one in the series isn't better, I won't buy anymore. The beginning was so awkward. The first book didn't lead you to a trip to England, so I had to read the first two pages of this book several times, then gave up and kept reading to finally realize the "sitting room" where the book starts is in England (an estate). The book is SOOOOO slow. I can easily put it down. I want to struggle through, altho I have been tempted to return it to Amazon for my money back. Skip this book by this author.

Good read!
Shipped super quickly and it's in very good condition too! The story itself is amazing - I read the first book (lemon tart) and then came on amazon and realized there were two more! Then, the real kicker, I just found out theres 13 in the whole series. You can read them in any order, but each book uses a little bit of detail from the previous ones as well, so I'm reading them in order. And yes! There are recipies in here too, I have not made one yet but they're at the end of the chapter with which you see the dessert. I would say 4-5 recipies throughout each book.

Cozy, fun holiday read
While this one might not be my favorite in the series, I love the characters and Sadie especially. She can be annoying, but what main character isn’t. Some people said this book was slow but I definitely didn’t get that out of it. And I am super impatient when it comes to books. Quick, cozy read that I enjoyed. Will be purchasing the rest of the series.

English Trifle
I didn't like Book 2 as much as Book one. The reason I didn't like it as much was because it was in England and to me it was just dull in some chapters. Sorry but you can't live every book .

Cooks up a great mystery!
I have read several of Josi's books. She has a great way of putting in the twist at the end! In addition to her writing skills, I LOVE her recipes. I belong to a book club and the members come back several times to select her books because of these and other reasons that make her fun to read!

Well....
I didn’t care for this book. The characters are shallow and predictable. Sadie is annoyingly nosy and behaves stupidly. I am sorry I wasted my time and money.
