It's BRIGHT 3000 Lumens, this is better than previous versions with a battery! Just get it, you will love it!
I will update this review if things change, however, so far, this thing is so much better than I expected.I was worried it would be too dim as some reviews have said, that has NOT been the case. This looks like a 3000 lumen projector on my wall, it's great. The one I'm reviewing is ACTUALLY 3000 LUMENS (500 ANSI), that's bright! Brighter than the sun? No... because it's the f'ing sun, no projector is brighter than the sun... Who watches movies on a projector with sunlight directly on the screen? Anyway....Simple Pros and Cons so far:Pros:-Small-Comes with Cables and a Tripod (fits almost any tripod you may already own)-BRIGHT!-Android comes installed on the device (It's an older version, but it checks out)-Supports Screen Mirroring for IPhone, Android and PC (Don't think it does Mac, but I didn't try)-Resolution is great, and can play 720p just fine-Color/Contrast is MUCH better than other Pico projectors I've seen.-PRICE!! (I'm talking quality to cost here, there are cheaper pico projectors, but I haven't seen much with better contrast, resolution or brightness)-Weight/Size It's not so small you'll lose it, but it's small enough you can throw it in a backpack just fine. It's size is perfect IMO. You can set it up anywhere.Cons:- Remote sucks. It's IR based, so you have to actually point it at the projector and you use the arrows to navigate the menus. If it was non-IR like the roku or something it would be fine, but overall, navigating the menus, using android, entering usernames and passwords for netflix or hulu or whatever is PAINFUL! I think I'm just going to connect my Intel NUC or Roku to this in the future. The android is nice in a pinch, but that damned remote just SUCKS! Can't have everything right?-Tripod that comes with it is kinda cheap. (Meh, it works just fine, it's just plastic and lame)-Needs to always be plugged in, no battery (Other versions had a battery, HOWEVER, the manufacturer says that they took the battery out to make it more quiet, increase the resolution and brightness. All things I value SO much more than a battery that would barely make it through a movie anyway.- It's so convenient that you end up watching more movies and TV shows in cool places. (Is that a con?)Recommendations:-Get a case for it... I'm going to, it's hard to get it all packed into the box again.-If you don't have a better tripod, you might be frustrated with the little plastic one tipping or not being tall enough without a nightstand or table to put it on. You might consider buying a better tripod. (However I used the cheap plastic one a little and it was "fine")-Have fun watching films outside and on random walls in your house =DI highly recommend this for students (college) who don't have a nice TV and live a mobile life. It's also great for Tiny Home people or RV travel and camping. If you're going to to that you might want a portable screen for viewing outside with wind and stuff like that. There are some pretty stable ones you can find (Amazon has some but there are more out there than what amazon currently has as of (July-20-2017)Anyway, yeah, seriously, this thing is great. 3000 Lumens with 720p for the win!

Surprisingly brilliant projector with only a few drawbacks
Love the projector overall - surprisingly brilliant projection and I've used it indoor and out. Some great features! For example, I used the auto keystone correction to project on the ceiling and it gave me a weird augmented reality 3D effect! We could actually project on the ceiling and watch a movie as if it were projected onto a vertical screen! Way cool.On the downside, I've had numerous issues getting the android OS to update correctly or log into Google services - it timed out multiple times and took me many tries to get that to work. Furthermore even though the machine was assembled last month, I received an error that Netflix couldn't play until Google play services was updated. After several frustrating tries that were unsuccessful, I accidentally discovered that hitting "back" on the error dialog dismissed the dialog and allowed me to play Netflix anyway.Other minor dings are- The box: It seems that iCodis tried to make an elegant box design with an iPhone like insert. However, it's simply too small to hold the components it came with. When I received the device, the box was bulging already because the components just don't fit.- No bluetooth: I know it's not advertised, but it's in all the Android settings, so you would think it has bluetooth. Trying to use it, the OS says "turn bluetooth on", which of course, you can't.- The Tripod: As others have stated, get another one - don't trust the undersized included tripod with your device, particularly if it's above a hard surface!- The remote: The remote only works when directly behind the device in a fairly narrow range. Particularly frustrating when you have to repeat entering user names and passwords because of the above Google play issues! There were other minor annoyances with the on-screen keyboard.- Menus: You have to get used to them. On my device, if you used the menu button on the remote you get a cool semicurcular menu, selecting an item shows options, which aren't spaced correctly and written on top of each otherOverall all the cons are fairly minor as the projector is awesome for the size and price! We've used it every night since we received it!

I purchased this as a gift and so far its pretty cool. We use it quite a bit to stream movies at the lake where we have limited entetainment. We have found a few things we don't like about it. First off the remote is cheaply made and I am not sure what we will do once it gets broke. You have to make sure you are lined up to the sensor to get the remote to work. Second thing is the sound. I knew I would have to get speakers to go with it and that was fine. However if you are trying to stream Netflix you won't get any sound. I can't figure out why. The projector does work fine with an amazon fire stick and so on just not Netflix from what wthe have found. So far we really like the projector and would buy it again.

Amazing projector for its size.
The projector is AMAZING! It serves my needs perfectly. It's really bright for its size, and it's very sharp. I purchased it because I host an interactive trivia night and needed something small but powerful to project in a variety of different environments. For that purpose, it's perfect. I thought I'd be annoyed not having a battery built-in but it hasn't been an issue. The firmware borders on atrocious. It's very difficult to get settings exactly the way one wants them to be, and the documentation that comes with the projector is almost unusable. It took a good couple hours of playing around with the remote and the projector before I got a firm-enough grasp on how to adjust the keystone and zoom settings. The Android system it's built on is shoddy and shady; the included Netflix app was choppy to run, and installing apps was a pain point. I'm sure with more time I could get the hang of it, but any kind of well-written documentation would have made me much happier.

Fine projector, awful interface
Excellent projector spoiled by a terrible interface. The buttons on the top appear to be hopeless meaning attaching a mouse is essential. If you can get into the menus without, I could find no way of navigating between fields to activate the online keyboard, so connecting to Wi-Fi appears to be impossible without a mouse. With a mouse attached (Bluetooth in this case which connected effortlessly) everything was much better. Very impressed with the quality of the picture in a fairly bright office. Also connected easily to Apple and Android devices.

Proyector bueno. Accesorios defectuosos.
