NagaokaCartridge JEWELTONE MM Series - JT-80BK Record Stylus

A very substantial upgrade from the Ortofon Blue cart that came with my table. I have not tried enough different carts in my system, and only the Blue in the last year or so, to say where this fits in relation to other carts, but it seems to deliver very good performance for the money.

This cartridge is great when you put on your turntable. Once you do the setting on this cartridge, you will get quality sound out of this cartridge. You could sit back and enjoy.

I have this on my Rega P6...It's a match made in heaven. Absolutely dead quiet. Well defined bass and mids while providing a sound stage as deep as the Grand Canyon. Highs absolutly shimmer. I hope this cart lasts a long time. I've never heard ANY of my vinyl sound this good.

Wow! What an improvement in sound after I upgraded to Nagaoka cartridge from Ortofon 2M Blue. Yes, it costs twice as the Ortofon, but now I can hear more details and more bass on the music I listen. It’s worth it.

This cartridge is silky smooth and well balanced. Deep bass, smooth highs. Very easy to set up. Compared to my AT VM540ML (a fantastic cartridge), the JT-80 has more detail and sounds perfectly balanced. This model is the same as the cartridge that came with the Technics 1200GAE special edition that was sold in Japan. You will not regret purchasing this cartridge
