Channeling the legendary Giro Nine born over a decade ago, the progressive Nine.10 packs tons of bang for the buck. Style lines borrowed from the Giro Seam combine with our innovative In Form fit system for the best fit ever made. Plus, we've replaced those pesky, easy-to-lose vent plugs with an ingenious Weather Strip Vent Shield.

Giro Nine-10 Helmet shell doesn't stand up to wear and tear - poorly designed & not durable
Good fit and warm, but the exterior shell is way too soft, poorly made, and won't last. Looking at my helmet you would think I had run-into every tree in Colorado by the number of dents, dings and cracks it has -- plus a seriously scalloped front edge. In fact it has been in checked luggage only once and after that was in carry-on luggage at all times. I have older bike helmets that show less wear than this ski helmet and they cost about half as much! The only conclusion is that it is not well designed or manufactured.Take a look at the pictures and you will agree that Giro has made a disposable helmet - not designed for more than one season. I am disappointed and will shop for a replacement as this one is starting to look pretty shabby. Doubt my next one will be a Giro.

Fits like a glove
I have somewhat of an unusually wide head shape and most of the time I start to get a headache after long periods of time due to the fact that most helmets do not seem to fit quite right. This is not the case with this helmet. This helmet fits my head very well without feeling too loose or too tight and also does not put the pressure on my head over time like some other helmets do. Great helmet for a reasonable price!

Decent Fit and Comfort... Poor Value
I like everything about this helmet, except the price tag. You get a little more styling than $40 bombshell helmet, but the protection is the essentially same. Also, this helmet is adjustable, both with respect to the air vents and the form fit system. Worth the extra $60? I don't think so.

Bad paragliding accident which resulted in damage to the helmet ...
Purchased to use as a Paragliding helmet. It's common for Paragliders to use a snow helmet. This helmet saved me from major injury the first day I was wearing it. Bad paragliding accident which resulted in damage to the helmet as my head smashed into the rocks but my head was ok and I was able to walk out of the situation alive.

Amazing
This helmet weighs about as much as 2 baseball caps. I was blown away the first time I picked it up and put it on. The fit and padding is amazing. Giro does it again. Highly recommended!

A little light but good
is a good helmet... a bit light for my taste and the protection on the ears is not as comfortable as more expensive versions. However, it does the trick, and for 1 - 2 trips to the slopes a year: is perfect!

Pressure over the ears , difficult to open ,close the ventilation
Even with the right size I experienced pressure and irritation on the ears from the tightening system, bending and debandiing the inner mesh to open, close ventilation is enoing. Otherwise nice design , light and the frontal extension will offer some face protection in case of impact. It also makes more difficult lifting the googles.

Great
Christmas gift for my son, he did all the research and decided this was the one for him. I was happy he was going to be responsible. He says it is great.
