Amazon advertises this as suitable for dentures, the product manual states: “Do not clean contact lenses, glasses, dentures and orthodontic appliances, spectacles, gemstones with porous surfaces, medical instruments of any type, or self-winding watches.”You can not even return it!! NOT ELIGIBLE !

Perfect for all your jewelry cleaning needs! I used the SUR42 for some pieces from my grandmother that haven’t been worn in years and they came out looking brand new. The device comes with two baskets with ring holders, so the rings stay in place during the cleaning process, making it perfect for those more delicate pieces. The device has two different timing settings. It’s also perfect for coins. As someone who collects coins from my travels, I have found the SUR42 to be extremely helpful in restoring the condition of the coins.

I've recently gotten back into wearing jewelry so I'm cleaning up all mine. After I do a cleaning I'll dump the water and its definitely dirty.. glad I bought this.

I had set my expectations too high with this ultrasonic cleaner and really any other small household ultrasonic cleaner. The first thing I wanted to try cleaning was the coffee stained spoon with soap and water but it seemed there was really no change. Scraping the stain off with my fingernail did way more than what the cleaner did. I realized for the price I shouldn't have expected that.Instead these what it's good at are for things with dirt or gunk from our oily sweaty dirty body that gets built up that is hard or near impossible reach with a brush. For me that's been useful as a parts cleaner for my radio control cars mainly plastic parts using a 10 part water to 1 part of simple green.The cleaner without the basket has a max physical capacity of 6x5x1.5" (1.5" max water line) that yep you can fit a CD/DVD mentioned on the product box and product photos in this listing.There is a drain hole at the bottom if there's ever a chance water gets past the top gasket when being dumped out.As another reviewer pointed out there is conflicting information about what can be cleaned with this ultrasonic cleaner and that reviewer is correct. In the included manual does warn not to clean things like glasses and dentures yet the product listing and photos here says you can. These same product photos and information is listed on their shop-beurer website too.In the end these warnings about not cleaning certain things is to protect themselves from any liability if something gets damaged and only using soap and water if one gets injured if using chemicals not in a well ventilated area which I completely understand. So why the conflicting information?Extra technical stuff.It uses a ChuangXin CX-768 stuck to the bottom of the bowl to produce the 43kHz frequency. There's not much information about that part other than it's used in some other ultrasonic cleaners sold in different countries which I assumed priced similarly as this Beurer.

I love this jewelry cleaner! It was so easy to use - just soap and water and you wouldn't believe the amount of dirt that came off! I Highly recommend

It worked nicely while it worked. Used it three times and then it stopped working. I now need to pay to ship it back to manufacturer so they can evaluate it. Do NOT buy this item.
