This product is a lot of fun and we came across them in the U.S. You don't need many beads for each activity, just add some water and they don't take long to expand. Add them to shaving cream, add some plastic toys, scoops, marble run, freeze them... endless really. I gave some to my child's preschool teacher.

These are small beads of Sodium Polyacrylate which expand in water and become the size of marbles after starting off as the size of poppy seeds.They expand as advertised and behave as one would expect, I was happy with the purchase and the price.

So i purchased these for my class to set up as a sensory tray. The children really loved them. Was really happy with the variety of colours, how many were in the container and how many different activities i was able to use them in. Really worth the small price tag.

Yeah they're great fun, until they all start splitting and go everywhere. Painful to clean up. Can't be good for the environment...
