I bought this little balance to fill capsules with a powder medication for one of my dogs at home and I was honestly surprised how well it works for how cheap It was. It’s definitely not as accurate as a lab balance… but that’s not what it’s intended for either. The accuracy is great for what it is! Measures milligrams fairly accurately. NOT for measuring micrograms. I can also say the battery life is fantastic I’ve had to charge it once in about 3 months and I use it fairly often, but not for long periods of time.

Two month review….charge is good for weeks….or more.l..would prefer the cord in the back but does not matter, I don’t have to go searching for batteries, buy batteries etc.It’s accurate and extremely quickI put Saran Wrap around the very front controls because I weigh powders all the time and thinkThat’s why I’ve gone through so many is it’s start to pass though etcBright light on the side Is bit annoying. But like how it goes off when not using then goes right back on when you put something on itThis is easily my favorite

I picked this scale because it is USB rechargeable. Sadly the one I received would not take a charge. I plugged it in for several hours but it was unresponsive. It worked for a few times then finally lost whatever charge it came with. I returned that for this one which appeared to take a charge. There isn't a clear Charge/Charged indicator, it did flash periodically where the first one did nothing. Now I only use it for a minute or 2 twice each day. I do like how the Backlight will go dark before too long then tap it to come back if needed. Time will tell how long a charge lasts.I need to measure 750mg twice daily and I am very happy with this scale. I use an old measuring cup instead of the provided tray. The tray along with the other accessories including dust cover have been packed away to never be seen again. I do like the protective ring and plastic cover, it does give the sense of being secure when put away. It's lightweight but not certainly delicate. I pop it into the cupboard next to the kitchen scale. It appears accurate against it's calibration weight. There are several other Modes, I only need Grams so I'm not bothered by the rest. I did set the Auto Shut Off which was easy enough to do.The replacement scale has a blemish all around one corner but that doesn't affect performance. It would have been nicer if it was unblemished and even better if the first scale had worked right out the box. While I am happy with what I have right now for those reasons I will give this scale a 4 but I do recommend.

Very accurate

We've owned this scale for less than a year and it's stopped working. It's death has been long, slow, and painful. We used it to measure out our cat's heart medication, and there are MANY issues with this cheap, horrible scale. First of all, the scale has major accuracy issues. We calibrated it with the weight that came with it and it was always off. It would often give us rapidly moving/fluctuating numbers. It was so bad I started weighing each dose of cat medicine twice for accuracy, and each time the weights before and after did not match up. Next, the flat "plate" part of the scale (where you put the items to weigh them- not the removable dish, but the roud attached "dish") cannot be removed for cleaning. We also have a regular kitchen scale, and this part is easily removed for cleaning, which is an important step and basic feature needed for hygiene and safety. As a result of the inability to remove this part, the scale collected medicine powder between/beneath the weighing "dish", which led to further issues with accuracy and rapidly fluctuating numbers when trying to weigh something. It became practically impossible to get an accurate weight. Finally, it randomly stopped working for no reason. If this scale ever becomes available again, I would NOT recommend it.

I shoot competition airguns. To have repeatable accuracy,it is imperative to weigh projectiles. With airguns, a variation of a few hundredths of a grain can make a huge difference when shooting farther than 50 yards. This scale let me measure to thousandths of a gram. It is definitely worth the money.The scale only weighs to tenths of a grain, but with a little calculation, using the gram scale worked for me. If you are looking for a scale that measures to hundredths of a grain, you may want to get something different.

Worked well for one week then stopped reading accurately.
