Tasty surprise
I only bought this because I wanted a bag of coffee with a rabbit on it for my wife's Easter basket. I was surprised by how incredible it smelled and how smooth and tasty it was. Definitely some chocolate overtones going on. A++

Surprised to enjoy this flavored coffee!
I didn't realize this was a flavored coffee when I ordered it. So when I opened it to grind it I was surprised to smell the aroma of vanilla and caramel along with the expected smell of roasted coffee. It smells delicious, however lots of flavored coffees smell delicious, but are nothing close to delicious. Because of that I'm not normally a fan of flavored coffees due to them having that highly processed and artificial flavor with far too much of it. I figured I already have it and opened, so I may as well go through with it. I proceeded with trepidation. The beans are not overly saturated with the flavoring oils and grinds without sticking in the grinder too much.We brewed up our normal sized pot using about 1 Tbsp of grounds per cup and prepared a cup. My trepidation was undeserved, this wasn't at all like most flavored coffees. The vanilla, caramel, and creme flavors aren't the typical overly artificial flavor and the amount of them wasn't overpowering. This was a surprisingly good coffee for being a flavored one. The coffee beans looks to be a blend of different roasts and tastes like it averages out to be something like a medium roast which isn't overly strong or bitter. At the time of this review they don't have a price listed in the Amazon store, but they do have their own site and they list it at $12.99 per 12 ounce bag, which is right in the price range for most specialty small batch coffees. So a reasonable price for coffee of this type. One thing that concerns me is they claim their coffee is organic, yet there is no information on their packaging or their website which indicates who their certification is through or if they are even certified through any kind of certification organization. While not the best coffee I've tasted, it is one of the better flavored coffees I've had. I will enjoy the rest of the bag, but not so much that I will go out of my way to get more. I'd be interested in trying their unflavored blends.

Doesn't taste as strong as it smells... Good for light and Medium drinkers!
When I received and opened this I was wowed!!! It was so aromatic, I couldn't wait to taste it. I was actually smelling a cherry (or some fruity) scent, and not the vanilla that others mentioned. (The packaging does not mention any added flavoring, so I assumed it was plain black.) I brew mostly in a keurig, hand filled recycle cups. I know this isn't a gourmet method, but then again I am used to what comes out of this machine as a comparison. I brew for 12 oz cup. I was expecting a strong cup, but this actually turned out very light (according to my tastes... I like strong black). So then I brewed for a 10 oz cup and I would describe it as a medium light brew. It was still very aromatic, and now that it is cooked I was smelling a hint of vanilla, maybe. I noticed a little bitter aftertaste on my 10 oz cup, which didn't bother me much because I like a strong coffee. I think if you like light to medium fruity brews this one is for you. I give it 3 stars, but someone may like it more than I did. I think I was expecting a little more bold. Also, I did like the packaging, how the bag opens from the ziplock, and not twisted down from the top.
