Works great for the Ninja 300!
My Motorcycle : 2013 Ninja 300Previous Bulbs: Philips Diamond Vision H7My Purchase: 6000KAlright so, some context:My bike is my daily ( aka I don't have a car, hi-5 if your bike is ur daily as well). So I ride my bike in the days, nights and yes even in the rains. Hence lights are quite essential for me. So my previous bulbs sucked, yes sucked is a strong word, i know. They were weaker than my stock yellow halogen bulbs. It got to a point where the normal orange street light would overpower my lights. (Review within a review for the Philips DV). So getting these HID's was definitely a upgrade I was looking forward to.Now, about the HID's:First things first, These HID's are true plug and play install, considering after you've removed your fairings. (Guys with naked bike, i envy you for this) My main concern with HID's was putting them in regular reflective housing rather than projectors, after a bit of re-search i found out it is fine to do that. I just didn't want to blind the other drivers in front of me and I didn't want it took look like one of those HID's, guys put in their 2002 civics and it just doesn't look right (So took a leap of faith here and just went for it, in hopes a ricer fate didn't await for me) But after the installation, for my Ninja 300's reflective housing the HID's seem very nicely focused on the road and did not scatter either (aka didn't look ricer). As you can see in the picture (Left: Philips H7, Right: OPT7 HID). Personally I would recommend going for the 6000k they have the luxury car color temp, the ones you'd see in Benz or an Audi. You know 75% white with 25% blue.. just perfecto. So far its been 2 days since the install and I feel more safe in my night cruises. BTW.. I have also included a picture of what the wiring should look like incase you found the instruction a lil too confusing like my self first.Note for the guys at OPT7: Great product.. Just update the instruction manual a bit for individual relays. Contact me if you want I dont mind helping you get a good electric diagram. (Electronics Major here)

Flawless Installation on CBR650F
Such an awesome product. Have purchased HID's from elsewhere before that were plug and play but would frequently not work when turn on. These from OPT7 are great. True plug and play. I installed the 10,000K H4 bulb on a 2014 CBR650F, and it works flawlessly. No need to connect not to the battery. Just had to use the adapter cable that came with the kit, plugged it into the existing harness connector and plugged the light into that. Very simple. I only wish I had realized that I didn't order the Bi-Xenon, as I was trying to get away from halogen altogether. But the low beam HID is bright enough on low beam that I just leave it on that. Awesome product overall. Quality of the bulb seems excellent, packaging was organized and not just thrown in he box. The directions, had I needed any, were very detailed and specific and showed great illustrations. I definitely think these are worth 5 stars and I'll be getting all my HID products from OPT7 from here on.

Thanks OPT7 for a budget friendly HID kit.
I was hesitant about ordering this kit due to the $40 price tag, my other kit in another bike was easily twice that amount. The kit arrived securely packed and comes with a 1yr warranty, so I decided to wire it in. Easy install, but could have used an extra inch or so of wire on one side of my bike (Sprint ST).Unfortunately, one bulb was blown after install. OPT7 replaced it quickly with a new one, no problem.Kit has been working fine since then in a daily commuter application. Lights are bright, with a bit of blue. Replacing my center w5w halogen bulb with a 6000k led bulb helped to whiten up the overall appearance of the beam.I think the light looks very natural for the bike with the stock projector lens. Kit comes with all necessary relays, capacitors, mounting hardware.

Worked out great.
There is no comparison from going to HID from halogen. The light is much brighter and travels farther. I'm still on the fence as far as trying the Led Headlight. This particular kit came with everything needed on my Brother's bike. It was a gift from me to buy it for him and install it. He loves the output and pattern. The only issue I had was the relay harness is for cars. So I cut one section off. Wiring it up on the bike was a snap. Everything fits behind the housing in the wide glide.

To much stuff just for a headlight.
Excited to get it until I opened the box. All of the stuff in the 2 little boxes will not fit in my Vulcan headlight housing. That black box in the picture wasn't even covered in the instruction book. Matter of fact, the instructions wasn't even for this kit. This is bad for business.Update: they sent me an email and in it they were sending me a link to buy one of their other products. Why would I do that if the original light I got from them sucks?

I got the 5000K color temp and I love it. It's bright and looks very good on my bike. The physical quality of the product is pretty good. They also include relays and fuses with this product which makes the price value really good. I would've given it a 5 star but the only thing holding me back is that every time the light turns on (cold start) it takes a good 10 seconds for the light to brightened up. But aside from that I highly recommend this. Already recommended and trying to get a friend of mine to get this exact same product. OPT7 did a really good job with this product!

I've never had good luck with hids and this was no different
I installed this system on my cbr650f a few months ago. I had the system on for about three months when I believe the bulb burnt out. I decided to just remove it from the bike. I've never had good luck with hids and this was no different. The wiring harnes that comes with the kit is not long enough to mount under the seat in my case where the battery is and connect to the wiring harness for the headlight on the bike. I had to cut and splice wires to make it long enough. I don't think I would recommend this or really any hid system that I've tried at this point. Just not satisfied with the reliability of the systems.
