Flyzone FS Brushless Electric RC RTF Trainer Airplane RC Airplane

I'm a 200 hour sport pilot with a tail wheel and sea endorsement and up until today zero time in rc. I always wanted to get into rc so I can practice aerobatic flying but it's hard to find the time and I didn't want to crash learning. I downloaded real flight and ended up getting bitten by the rc plane bug so from the advice of a very experienced friend I bought this kit rtf.I think in some ways I have an advantage in already knowing how to fly and use the rudder etc. but I will say that if you use the free real flight simulator on your phone in advanced mode and can take off and land no problem this plane will be a piece of cake.I have zero complaints on the build etc. for the price of this plane you are getting quite a bit. It's is super easy to assemble and everything fit and worked right out of the box. Very pleased with this!

Battery and charger were crap. Would not hold a charge!!!! Had to purchase another one.

The FlyZone Sensei FS Ready To Fly Electric RC Plane was a simple to put together, came with everything that was needed and was a breeze to fly! If you are in the market for a first time RC plane or perhaps you’ve been out of the hobby for a while, then this trainer is definitely for you! The build quality was top-notch and it comes with a great ESC, receiver, and even transmitter! The motor is a powerful brushless motor that will keep on ticking and give you enough power to even do some acrobatics once you get good at flying!Probably one of the only areas I think could be improved for the Sensei would be the included battery. We would like to see a larger capacity battery provided so the plane can reach closer to 10 minutes of flight time. OUTSTANDING !As a trainer or just a fun last flyer or a great float /ski planeBolt on wing , nice and robust ..very durableExcellent power pkg . esc and motor provide excellent power .Drop doors are fun and the kids love the candy drops.I had the apprentice and it is a nice plane too but the sensei is just a better design ..easy battery access , no rubber bands for wings( that's dent and cut into the wing over time . both good ..sensei is GREAT... A real blast to fly at any skill level ..and the price is great too .

i have been an rc plane modeler for 20+ years. built and flown many models. i had tried to get my daughter to learn to fly them for a long time.finally, she asked me to buy her a really good trainer to learn with. so after reading several mag. reviews ( i`m sure like most mags since there is a lot of advertising revenue done, the reviews are mostly good... even if they are not ) so i decided to write this review for others from just a consumers point of view. i just received the the rtf version last week but have not had time to open box til yesterday. the manufacturers box was contained in a solid shipping box. after opening the manf. box i pulled all the components out(carefully ). much to my disappointment, the very end of the tail section (about 2 in. from the end) was almost broken off. this was not from the shipping as both boxes nary had a mark on them. this was surely from who ever packed it or it was broke even before it was packed( i noticed it right away! why not the people who put it in the box) anyhow, since i have been building planes for years i figured i could epoxy the tail together which i did. the plane went together pretty well but it will take longer than the mostly reviewed 30mins i`ve seen in articles. the manual is thought out very well and even a novice should be able to put this together. since this is not a review for the flight of this model i`m not going into how well it flies. just to say that it does fly well and the Wise system does work as advertised. this review was mostly to warn people who want to buy this to check the model very carefully when unpacking. PLEASE look at all the parts before assy. this is not the first Hobbico item i have bought that was damaged after i received. i have had 3 other planes from hobbico over the years that were the same. never from shipping but damaged either by packing or never noticed by those who packed them. this was the first one though that i could fix and fly, the others had to be sent back from where i bought them. i give it 3+ stars because the it does fly correctly and the product is very nice for beginners. quality control i believe has a lot to be desired!
