IQShieldScreen Protector Compatible with Sony Xperia X Compact (F5321) LiquidSkin Anti-Bubble Clear TPU Film

I've had several smartphones by now so I'm used to applying a film but I always manage to leave a bubble or two. This one was by far the best result in terms of bubble/lint less application. Screen is flawless and responds well to the touch. Like other reviewer says, this is a soft film. I chose this product because of the curved edge of the X compact. I've read numerous reviews for the hard glass protector and they simply cannot be applied to the curved edge and leaves the area unprotected. IQ Shield is soft and cut to the exact size including the curved edge. I like it. BUT, it requires *major* patience for application. I kind of wanted to stop halfway through because it really takes time... I'm glad I got it through though. I highly recommend watching their YouTube tutorial for Galaxy S7 Edge (same curved edge method applies to Xperia). If you follow their instruction, the film sticks well and protect your phone's screen.With that being said, I'm not sure how long it lasts. It's been 3 weeks and they are holding up, but I can see that the edge is tiny bit starting to detach. I have a soft TPU case on, so I think it's helping keep it in place. I don't know if I want to use this film alone... All in all, I'm glad I got this over the glass protector but it may not for everyone. Watch the tutorial before buying.

The Sony Xperia X Compact's curved screen makes it really hard to find a screen protector that curves with it. This is the best thing I've found. As long as you're patient and follow the directions and video on the website, it will curve to the screen and stay down. Inevitably, you're always going to have a small amount of lint/dust at the edges but it is a tiny amount that I don't notice. It is nice that if you do end up with bubbles underneath, they will go away on their own. The only thing I don't care for is the 'self healing' property, very easy to scratch and takes forever to go away. I'd rather have the traditional style that is a little harder plastic and thus harder to scratch.

I can't say it's bad, but previous screen protectors I bough usually gave you more than just 1 film. That way, in case you make a mistake, you get a second (or third) chance to do it right.Unfortunately, this only comes with 1 protective film, so if you touch the sticky part ... you're done - fingerprints forever on the underside. No way to remove them. Yes, they warn you about it in the instructional video.

I barely used this product and took it off soon after applying because I didn't like how hard it was to move my finger up and down the screen. Assuming you follow directions in the video and don't get liquid everywhere, it's easy to install. But if you can't slide your finger up and down easily when scrolling, what's the point? It feels closer to rubber than glass or plastic because it's soft. It feels like a hardened gel or modeling clay. Now imagine gliding your finger on that. Doesn't make sense right? Hence, 2 stars because it's dysfunctional even though good in all the other aspects.They should have coated the non-adhesive side with some material to reduce friction.

I haven't installed it because it is not what I was looking for and I am afraid it won't protect my screen enough. Probably this could work for somebody else.

Novel installation method that makes it easier to avoid bubbles. Seems to be not as tough as the typical 9H hard screen protectors, but time will tell.

I would give it zero if I could.So the listing says it's for a sony xperia x which is what I have, I lined up the bottom where the hole for the speaker is (I did this perfectly because OCD), and then I laid it on; the holes for the top front cam, speaker, and notification light were a whole 1/2 inch lowered than they should have been.So, the screen protector is way too small for the screen.

This screen protector is great! I just wish it weren't so expensive. My cat likes to try to eat my phone every now and then, and destroys the protector in the process. Otherwise, it's great at preventing scratches and things.
