NOT NUT FREE! The product I received yesterday actually has a label that says, "may contain: peanuts, tree nuts (walnut, pecan, hazelnut, almonds, coconut), sesame." My young child has a life-threatening nut allergy, so this is quite disturbing. I sincerely hope this item can be removed from Amazon.

I purchased these early, bc I was excited to find a nut free facility product. The kids were very excited to receive their chocolate coins. Upon opening them, the color was faded and it looked like it had gone bad, but I know that temperature can sometimes affect the color, but the not the taste, so we went ahead and tried them. BIG mistake. They are stale and left a bad aftertaste. We looked everywhere for an expiration date to no avail. I am unfortunately past the return period, so I wasted $28. I cannot recommend these.

Great flavor and it was a hit for the kids that have nut allergies. I purchased these for my son’s birthday party. We celebrated on St Patrick’s day and we did a scavenger hunt. I put these gold coins in a black pot and was the final prize at the end of our scavenger hunt. The kids loved the scavenger hunt and they thought the pot of gold at the end was really neat. The only complaint I had is there aren’t very many chocolate coin in each bag. Other thank that it was great.

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY. I trusted the 5 star reviews hoping against the bad reviews. The coins are mishaped (as if they had melted and solidified again) and they are faded like old chocolate. Soooo very dissapointed AND. they can't be returned so there is no safety net here. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY!!! FYI shipped in October so summer heat in transit was not a factor.

These are great! I bought them for my class when studying Israel in a Holidays Around the World unit. I am kind of a chocolate snob -- I do not like cheap chocolate and stick to Hershey's or higher brands. Well, imagine my surprise when I tried one of these and it was delicious! In fact, I had 4 bags left over from my students and I ate every one of them! Definitely buying these again next year!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The chocolate was so old that we had to throw away, mu kids already ate someod them before i caught it... instead of milk chocolate... it was so deteriorated that it had white crust on it!

I loved the pricing of this product - it's very fair! I found the taste of the chocolate to be edible. Not great, but I don't think that most kids will mind that it isn't high quality, gourmet chocolate. What's important is that it gets the job done if you're looking for some gelt at good price and pre-packaged portions. It's nice that it's free of many allergens! I looked at many different similar products before choosing. I liked that this one comes in pre-packaged little sets. That is perfect for use as a party favor, or if you wanted to sell it, it seems ready to do that too because the package it comes in works as a nice display.

These were going to be used as party favors, I was very pleased to find out through my guests that they ineed were delicious. They really are very good and the foil wrapping wasn't hard to take off and the gold color was nice and shiny.
