Exact Replacement Clip, fits like original
These clips were exactly what we needed when repairing our Kenmore water softener. My husband broke the original clip when removing the water softener bypass valve assembly. We couldn't find these clips at any local store, neither the big box hardware or small independent hardware stores carried it.I looked up the parts list for our water softener to find the part number for the clip, then came to Amazon and found these. Not only were they an exact match but they were much cheaper than buying them directly from the manufacturer. Even better is that it was a 4 pack so if (or when) another one gets broken we already have a replacement on hand.

Comparable product to the OEM
This product seemed compatible and it also came with a tool to remove the gasket. It also came with lubricant to apply around the gasket area to get a good fit.I compared the gasket to the old one and it was pretty much the same.Unfortunately my probably was not the gasket. I called whirlpool and they told me if the o ring didn’t solve my leaking then I would have to replace the bypass valve.I wish replacing the o-rings would have done the job but it didn’t in my situation.However the quality overall was very comparable to the OEM parts.

fixed my leaking water Kenmore softener
I used the kit to fix the Kenmore water softener.Tip, used the attached grease or silicone grease to make installing with rubber ring much easier, also prolong the life of the rubber ring.

Water Softener Water By-pass connecting clips
I followed the directions on a YouTube video to service my water softener and my 14 year old clips broke. I had put the softener in By-Pass mode so there were no issues with a water leak. I went to the manufacture's web site and found that they wanted $10.50 PER clip. I bought four here. Worked great. Faster delivery.

Did not fit too small
Although it was the correct number and claimed compatibility with the whirlpool WHES40 it did not go around the pipe to clamp. Generic fitting did not work
