I purchased this in April 23. I have only used it a few times to date n yesterday.something startled my kitten n he tugged on the lead . The d ring torn halfway out of its fastening. The kitten is well within the weight Size given.I have written to the company. But as yet have had no reply.

I’m my opinion it seems a little bit risky in that the your cat, perhaps my terror, can escape , but he took to it very well and was purring whilst I put it on - but his neck is too big so tip is to measure the size of your cats neck before purchasing - I’m returning it and will look for another suitable safer one and larger size.

Tried so many harnesses and at last this one suits the morphology of cats. Now my cat doesn’t seem entirely convinced it’s the right size. But it feels large enough for him to breathe comfortably, while also being tight enough so he doesn’t escape out of it Houdini style like he had with previous ones. It does look a bit too ‘sturdy’ in the sense it does not bend with his neck etc and looks like it’s super straight but I’m sure it can be sorted once he’s more used to it. I wish it were a bit more stretchable but I guess it wouldn’t be so secure.

The Velcro is strong. Your cat won’t escape easily. Our Mainecoon cat was tethered for a while in this harness and if fit him well. It could have better breathability as he thoroughly licks himself in the areas covered once it off, unlike other harnesses we’ve tried.It is much better in terms of him not being able to escape as it covers more of the body.Our Mainecoon did eventually wriggle out of it was he does with all harnesses eventually.The material seems pleasant to bite as he spent a good while biting at it.

She managed to squirm out of it. I bought the correct size too. It's a bit of a funny shape too. Cuts in under her front legs hampering walking.

My small kitten wriggled like mad to get out of the harness but couldn't. He drops to the floor sideways and plays dead when I put it on.I put it on twice daily for 5 mins to try and build his tolerance to it, he is tolerating it slightly better each time.Will be be several days before I will be able to walk outside with him I think

Fifi loves it, ok that’s a lie, she tolerates it - which is good enough.For reference Fifi is 4.6 kg and I bought her the large. It fits her perfectly, it would probably fit comfortably up to 5kg.I didn’t buy it for the purpose of walking her. So I can’t comment on the leash. I needed something to cover a wound on her shoulder that she refused to let heal. The vet recommended a cat babygrow but she wriggled out of that within 5 minutes.This harness has been escape proof, she’s been in the garden living her best life and it hasn’t snagged on anything or shimmied off. Hurrah, her wound is almost healed. I definitely recommend this harness.

My cat can escape this after about 10 mins. Can wiggle out if left alone. When leased or clipped on short lease inside carrier he does not attempt to escape anymore. It’s super easy to put on as you don’t need to slip their legs inside, just place it on their back and be quick about closing the velcro. My cat hates his other harnesses but this one he doesn’t even care when we put it on. Full range of movement too as no straps around his armpits. All in all perfect for my purposes in that it’s mainly to clip him into his carrier as an extra layer of protection while travelling. 8/10
