white is back, clean is back, bright is back, brush is perfect for grout cleaning
oh yes! my tile is over 40 years with good old original grout. This brush is perfect for grout cleaning. My tile shape and colors are still admired by folks that get to visit master bathroom.Grout had, no matter what I did, got dirty. Number of things tried, including the dawn with hot vinegar trick. Used this and the Stain-X Pro Grout cleaner and I got very white grout now, then sealed it with Impregnator Penetrating Sealer from Home Depot. In the shower the grout is white and the sealer works so well it acts like Rainex - the water just beads up on the tiles now. So clean white tile floors and shower and sealed well too boot. I recommend all 3 products and bought two of them here on amazon. Back for more for other bathroom floor - I ran out and the white tile white gout where I worked is significantly brighter, cleaner than the unfinished (unworked) floor area. Even the white tile is whiter, not just the grout. Oh, I used garden kneeling pads so I could be on knees on the ceramic tile without pain.

Very happy I picked this brush, it is far from junk, it gets into the groove with the bristle design
Gets right in the groove. I put quite a bit of elbow grease into it but it was so worth it. I'm not in the mood to post pics but I'll tell you some of the skankiest areas turned out amazing. Btw, I did not use this brush alone, I also bought a 128 oz. jug of TECH Grout Cleaner too. The pair are super effective. I got an unused ketchup dispenser, like those ones at diners with the pointed spout, and used that to squirt along the grout lines. I put some effort into the scrubbing. I guess you can use something in a drill but I just screwed a good paint stick into the brush and scrubbed to get into the groove (you will feel this when it happens). Then I just scrubbed my ass off. Definitely worth the effort and expense.

Most excellent results with this brush!
Oh my gosh! This has been a game changer for me! Scrubbing grout is hard work, and I can only do it in small areas each time. The kitchen and utility room ceramic floors need to be deep cleaned, and this has made the work much easier. I have been using an old paint handle that screws into the brush, and it works beautifully. The bristles remain stiff after many hours of scrubbing, using G** G*** grout cleaner, with excellent results in a short amount of time. Can you tell I really like this brush?!

No signs of wear.
I ordered this particular brush because I had several rent houses to clean and I hoped it would not wear out. Well, this did not wear out. However, it did scrub out some of the grout and I thought it would be impossible for a brush to damage grout. After the floor dried the damage was apparent. I would still get this brush; it is durable and shows no signs of wear. However, I would not press so hard or brush the grout to heavily. Great brush.

add a pole, clean floor grout with no knee pads necessary
This with the grout cleaner spray "STAIN-X PRO GROUT CLEANER" made pretty quick work of cleaning grout that hadn't really been cleaned in a few more years than it should have been. Spray this on, let it sit a few minutes, then start to scrub some with the brush. The way the brush is shaped, the textured edges of the floor tiles also get a good cleaning and I'd forgotten they weren't intended to be darker spots on the tile until this brush helped remind me what the fully clean floor looked like. Hooked this to the lacquered metal tipped rubbermaid pole and the holy grail of floor cleaning was achieved. Spray from a standing position, wait from a standing position, and scrub from a standing position. A little mopping to clean up the dirty residue resulting from the dirt cleaned out of the grout lines and a clean floor without needing knee pads. What more could you want?

I just have to say this is the best purchase I have made in a very long time
I just have to say this is the best purchase I have made in a very long time. I have 1600 square feet of tile and grout downstairs in my home. After living here for 14 years the grout has darkened even though it gets cleaned often. This brush is a miracle worker, very solid, works great. I made a batch of white vinegar and water and scrubbed all my grout and it looks close to new. I attached a broom handle to this brush to make it easier to use. If you are on the fence whether you should buy this or not, don't be you will not regret this purchase.

Good - not great - grout brush.
The brush is long and quite narrow. Its variable length bristles are pretty good at cleaning my textured porcelain tiles and their grout lines but keeping the narrow brush centered on the grout lines takes some effort - especially with the brush at the end of a pole. The temptation is to scrub both the floor and grout lines but the narrowness of the brush makes this a difficult/labor intensive task. A 3" wide brush with the same bristle configuration and the same length would be most welcome. Out of frustration and curiosity I did try my Oxo scrub brush on the grout lines I had just scrubbed with the Dirty Grout Demon. The Oxo scrub brush did do a much better job at scrubbing the grout lines clean, however, to do the entire floor with the Oxo scrub brush would be a hands & knees job (which I am trying to avoid). What I need is either an Oxo scrub brush on a pole or a much wider Dirty Demon grout brush.

Great!
This worked so well! The bristles are stiff enough that they really scrub the grout. And since it can screw into a long handle (stick), you don't break your back.I sprayed Greased Lightning on the grout and scrubbed with the brush. Then I used my Hoover SteamVac to rinse the floor. Since the SteamVac also sucks up the rinse water, the floor dried pretty quickly. Now if I can only get the inspiration to seal the grout, I won't have to do this all again in a year!
