My 1.5 yr old great granddaughter just loved it!

I have most of the books by Verdick in this early learning series. Great books to help prepare my child for things like Bedtime or distinguish different things like bedtime from Naptime. My kiddo loves Clean Up Time. I sing a little song while reading the book and improv whenever I need to. My child follows along and is more cooperative because she sees the illustrations of the children "cleaning up". Listening time is good illustrate that "ears" are for listening to the grown up give instructions, but the book is geared to day care or preschool environment prep for listening to the teacher and getting ready to sit quietly for story time or circle time. I wished this book was geared toward helping a child grasp the concept of listening to Parents instructions as in our every day lives, we do not have circle time.

This is one of my favorites for circle time to remind the kiddos were listening. The kiddos love it and I love that it helps remind them to turn on their listening ears

Class loves this book.

I read this to my daughter and she loves it. She thinks it's a game and has heard the chris cross applesauce at school, so she was so happy to know what the book was about and even asked to me Chris cross applesauce 😆

Great book, easy read. We love it.

Absolutely loved it. Amazing that there was a black girl on the front cover and as the main character. My daughter related to it much more. Its been life changing. The tips for parents, the language the book ha sgiven me to use with my daughter.bit complemented the gentle discipline we were using. Her listening skills have improved.

The media could not be loaded. Love the entire series where this book is from. I have purchased 2 of the lot to help in educating my toddler on listening and how to calm himself down when he's in a tanty. They're so helpful and my son loves reading them with me as he actually uses methods suggested in the books to work through growing pains. The illustration are very engaging and the writing style is simple and clear for toddlers to understand. Highly recommended!
