Although the hardcover cloth and foil lettering make this pregnancy journal a more classy piece, it feels a bit lackluster compared to some other choices.Each two-page begins with "Week ___" and a short blurb called "A Bit About You" which details what the baby looks like and what is happening to him/her week by week using second-person point of view ("You now measure approximately 6cm..."). Then the opposite page features a section called "What We Have Been Up To" and a section for you to post a photo. This 2-page template runs for a majority of the book every week, with little variation other than the blurbs about the baby. It feels very cut and paste, which I suppose will work for some mothers who want something simple for every week.Towards the end of the book, they do have some pages that cover things like the first five weeks after birth (with the expected "What We Have Been Up To" sections again), followed by some pages of firsts. So to summarize:PROS:-Good for low maintenance journaling (same thing every week on a two-page spread)-Cute blurbs on what's happening with the baby every week-Minimalist but cute pastel photos of bunnies, giraffes, and other animals---scattered throughout the book in a repeated fashionCONS:-Very cut and paste format (can be dry, repetitive, and boring)-No space for additional notes and items (i.e., no pockets or additional sections per week)-When adding photos, this book will definitely expand way beyond the covers because it's so fitted without photos
